I'm glad you're enjoying it🥺 I understand some of it cuz I've been learning Japanese, but not enough so I can't wait for subs~ hopefully a streaming platform will pick it up after all episodes air, more ppl need to know about this show!
that was CUTE !!!!!!!! too short and there's definitely things I'd change (it's a 2015 movie let's be fr) but it was overall ok. I want someone to like every single thing about that makes me... me! so I understood why yashiro fell so hard.
a kiss felt unecessary tbh, given the rollercoaster of emotions.
what? my favorite bl of all time is utsukushii kare, the last bl i watched was the sing in love movie. you see, i strongly believe things like this depend on timing and overall mood of the show, even for straight shows, I've been watching silent for weeks and there hasn't been a single time i questioned why we haven't gotten a kiss between meguro ren and the female lead, you know why? because there was no need to do so, there were other far more important things to show in order to understand the story. and I'm not gonna ask for every show to deliver the same, you can't compare silent to kingyo tsuma, just to name a j-drama. just like you can't expect an steamy kiss from kieta hatsukoi but you can from the novelist/indigo no kibun. I'm just grateful when we do get kisses coz IF done right, it makes the couple more natural, but we're talking about japan lol. even for straight couples you'll get good kisses only if it's a Netflix original show/not meant to be broadcasted, so. if you wanna see ppl kissing like a fish that's on you
a kiss felt unecessary tbh, given the rollercoaster of emotions.
i don't even watch that many straight dramas to begin with, what do you know about me, to assume such things? every j-drama is different, and japanese ppl are pretty reserved anyway.
it's pretty good tho
