I finally managed to watch the finale and I loved it so much:((( might not love the show as much as I loved ossan's love japanese ver. but it's just because to me nothing can ever beat how lovable maki ryota is<3 but this was a great show regardless, especially because of how well it portrayed even its secondary characters! does anyone know if they'll be doing the movie too? I'd love that. I felt like Siu Muk was such a bland character for like half of the show too so I feel like I have to talk about that for a moment, it was also kinda hateable how he kept avoiding Tin but I get it. And Francesca is such a great woman<3 she deserves the best. Idk if I like Louis' transition into stopping being a womanizer but anyway, I ended up liking him a lot. Carmen is so cool too!! as I said before, I liked how even if they were not mains, they got a good portrayal and screentime.
I thought they would cover some parts of the movie as well based on the number of episodes but that didn't happen, wonder if we'll be getting a movie on this one too
The ending made me think that in the end the MC is just another character in the BL world he was born in. He may…
I think he became a main character once he started trying to defeat the bl world because a regular person /mob/ would never try or even think about doing such thing, so that by itself stands out. him without realizing was becoming a main character, maybe if he ignored what he knew he would have succeeded at "remaining straight"
the actors STUDIED their characters, I have 0 doubts about that, they're doing a better job than what I expected. I'm just so happy Ossan's Love got THAT popular it already has a remake, and this one did not disappoint at all. Loved that they're staying true to the original thing, even to the lighting effects (like when a confession happens, the lighs go heart shaped, that sorta stuff). One thing that I feel weird about is that Tin-Tin is waaaay more gross than Haruta, it's not even fun, I just get cringed lmao. but the show's as good as it can get nevertheless !!:)
I loved the twists and all that but I also hate them so much. I think the least favorite one for me was the one of that cat that was in love (?) with his owner (or not. I hated when characters had all the chemistry and then BOOM, they would call each other "friend" just like that, I wish these had a second season. My favorites are the Mii2, KimCop and the YoonTalay ones because they were so SWEET but I do have a question !!!! in the 6th one at the end, was it real P'Jedi or the VR one? probably the fake one. Copter was adorable but the entire situation was so CRINGY I just wanted to hide. It's a cringier version of something that could easily fit the black mirror narrative but I did like it. Episodes won't be too memorable though, they're short as hell.
I have a question about the Thai BL industry. Do actors who have acted in BL go on to be in other BL? Or do they…
depends on how much the want to profit with the lgbt community/how much they support it/their company/etc. For example, maxtul has done quite a few roles together as a couple because they're supportive of the community, while there's ppl who only did one or two roles because they're done with acting as queer ppl or just because they want to expand their careers. Bkpp are supportive and so is nadao bangkok (their company) so we COULD expect another role but I think they want to focus on their studies and at least billkin wants to focus more on his singing career according to his manager but idk. if they ever do another lgbt series I think they'd act together because they're comfortable with that, they've been friends for a long time
can someone helped explained certain questions I have about this drama. 1.) is Teh from a different HS ? I noticed…
1) He is! he transfered a while after he stopped being friends with oh because things became awkward, that's why moraoyulok knew oh better than teh, because he spent more time with them than teh. 2) He cried because he realized how much he's given to him and that he fucked up really bad because him giving away his place at uni went to waste since oh didn't take it. other reason of why he cried is that, remember that he cut the Chinese book to give him a handmade one with collages related to those words? well, the words he picked for the book were supposed to be the encouraging ones in order to make oh more excited to study, but with what teh was left was with hurting ones like "angry", "useless", "helpless", "unreasonable", etc. So when he was at his worst knowing how much time and money he and his family wasted on something he threw away, reading something like this just made him explode in tears. last reason (?): because he was truly left with nothing, he gave oh aew the flashcards, his time, his books (and even cut the last one), his place, etc. He had no material to study now and so little time to do so.
I watched it a month ago without subtitles and I didn't understand everything BUT the synopsis is right if anyone was wondering about that, I'm not exactly sure if he's a novelist, though. Also!!! regarding the kiss from the trailer, this isn't a bl movie or anything but it's a comedy and it has Yutaro from Cherry Magic so I'll recommend it because of those reasons(??) so yeah
