not every story is interesting but I've had quite a few moments where some left me thinking, SPECIALLY episode 5 "Itoshiki Rinjin" and episode 9 "Aaa, Love Hotel" if you know a little japanese I strongly recommend to watch this show, is worth it despite not having subs yet.
mikuri san as a mom, that's it.no but seriously I'm impressed by the way the show and this special managed to…
the scene where yuri's highschool friend confesses she liked her back then, I teared up, it made me think about the times I wished I had confessed to my girl crush but couldn't. and then yuri's reaction afterwards, it was heartwarming to say the least. also mikuri and hiramusa giving their baby a gender neutral name, oh they are going to br such good and understanding parents. though I didn't expect this special to be so centered about the problems that covid brought, and mostly felt like an odd excuse to reunite the cast, it was okay. also great that it acknowledged how there ARE systems that allow parents to take time off to take care of their babies/family but japanese society doesn't really allow for it because everyone is used to acting like robots that live for working.
mikuri san as a mom, that's it. no but seriously I'm impressed by the way the show and this special managed to address several things without making it sound corny or exaggerated, it was good.
just watched the special, which btw I don't understand why this page says the show has 11 episodes, s1 is 10,…
the thing about this show is, I didn't expect it to acknowledge lgbt ppl like that, I found it truly heartwarming. not only because of numata and his bf, but because of the scene where yuri gets confessed by her highschool friend, I teared up. AND THEN mikuri and hiramasa giving their baby a gender neutral name JUST IN CASE??? ADORABLE on a sad note I wished yuri and kazami stayed together but it is what it is, I adored yuri as a character in the special nevertheless.
just watched the special, which btw I don't understand why this page says the show has 11 episodes, s1 is 10, the special almost counts as a separate movie. but I watched it and really liked it!!!
the musical parts are cringe, but everything else is great!
agreed!!!!! my favorite thing about this show was that despite the plot being a little complex, it still managed to be funny as hell. I need a second season~
it would be interesting if the show explores why she didn't think anything of kanda obviously trying to flirt with her, and why she was confused about the kiss
japanese plots are getting more creative, what do you mean the daycare teacher falls in love with an undercover bl actor and is caught inside a love triangle with the two, that also act as a couple in the show but in real life one secretly hates the other? this is only gonna get funnier
just finished ep 2, it was so much fun !!!!!!!!!!!!!! I fear this might become one of my comfort dramas because there are only 4 eps subbed so far and I'm terrible at waiting
