Agreed! But I can understand that most of the ratings came from people who didn't watch it during its time. Kdramas have come a long way since the early 2000s and most current/modern kdrama watchers would not know how to appreciate its value and significance.

The two main leads (Joon Sang and Yu Jin) end up together, though one of them has a disability. Mind you that this is the OG kdrama where all the cliches were born and adapted into other dramas, but still a very beautiful story about first love. ❤

Me too! I didnt even manage to reach ep5. Dropped it after the whole mountain romance. Didnt like the female lead and there wasnt any chemistry.

I agree completely. I was rooting for Geun-soo and Soo-ah the entire time, and even when they messed up, I could understand where they came from.

So glad that someone else bothers to highlight the apology scene with Geun-soo. It was the only scene that I actually teared up at. :')

I would personally recommend Legend of Miyue (https://kisskh.at/11122-legend-of-miyue). It has a strong female lead and a well written plot! I watched it quite awhile back but it left a really good impression for me. :)

Yeah the first quarter of the drama is kinda draggy. I felt the same way too. But I would advise you not to give up and continue on. The plot gets interesting later on!

AGREED 1000%. It's the only storyline in the entire drama worth watching. Without their story, I would have given this drama a fairly low rating.
