as of now, solid plot. strong production. the fight scenes are not overdone. romance is slow burn, i like it.

Casting are so good. They can truly deliver both quirk and the drama side, amazing actors they're really powerhouse, the writer could have improve the story i can't really point out what seems to be off from the screenplay. Nonetheless this is still a good watch.

My fave scene so far, 1st ep -- the fight between MY and JBZ, the rest are icing in the cake. For some reason, I was expecting Shangguan Qian's character in the couple masquerade -- I guess I just missed the character, but MingYi is totally fine she gave me butterflies every time she hold hands with JBZ. Ep 13 is getting interesting. Bring on our WangYe's swag!

I agree that the writer was lazy in the last episode, but overall, this is an excellent show. For me, highlighting the food scenes is good, just like in Jewel in the Palace. I enjoyed the prep and science behind the food scene. The cast all did an excellent job.

This is not a popular opinion, but I am glad they replaced the original ML with Chae Min. That guy has a very sinister look... not because he is good at his role, but he's giving so much dark impression HAHA. Chae Min pulled this role really well (I am not a fan, but he delivers his King role)

I can't wait for the next episode. I don't know about others, but this is engaging. I like the veteran actors too.
