when does shen wen lang accidentally sleep with gap tu in the novel?? chapter no plzz
You’re gon be disappointed with wenlang and gaotu storyline in the extra chapters. In my opinion, it feels like their romance story was rushed. We didnt get a strong cohesive plot like hua yong and shaoyou’s storyline (my guess is maybe bc they’re not the main couple???). I hope the drama does more justice and develops more on wenlang and gaotu romance

I’m not surprised about the platforms ban. I just hope the future of the actors are not ruined. It’s really not up to us to decide that unfortunately. We will support them always!

In my opinion, ABO Desire is definitely a “riskier” BL/danmei series compared to Revenged Love. The male pregnancy aspect of it from the omegaverse universe puts it more of a ‘threat/danger’ to the Chinese govt regarding their moral beliefs about what is a definition of a man vs a woman and how a traditional family should look like

You've got to be kidding me... wasn't this going to be international only? What the hell? I wanna watch this
There are non-Chinese owned streaming platform companies like Viki that is airing this series so China can’t do anything abt that

which streaming platforms are not china based owned?
According to their official igs, these are the platforms that still air the series: GagaOOLala, Heavenly, KKTV, MonoMax, and Viki. Viki and GagaOOLala are well known internationally so you can stick with those sites

atp they can get on all international streaming platform services. Netflix, Hulu, Peacock, HBO, etc lol
Netflix is a great choice. If the series blow up and bring hefty profit back to Netflix, they would see the BL/danmei genre potential and may even sponsor/invest in those type of series in the future.

Yeah, even though its aired internationally, these companies are Chinese-owned so still under the Chinese govt regulations. China dont play when it comes to BL/danmei genre so they pressured these platforms to take the series off. These companies would not risk the possibility of being blacklisted from airing any Cdrama domestically in China or erased from existence

When they announced the series was removed by WeTV, I had an inkling about Youku and iQIYI. No matter what loop hole was used to air the series, I knew the Chinese govt would find a way somehow to softban the series on Chinese-owned streaming platform services. They are all Chinese companies, ofc they’d be under regulations of the govt still whether a series is aired internationally or not. And the Chinese govt doesnt want these “morally incorrect” ideologies to “poisoned” their own citizens so they took actions. These companies would not risk to become “nonexistent” just bc of one “risky” drama series. They make a lot of money from Chinese ppl since all straight Cdrama are scattered across these big three names. Welp, at least for non-Chinese owned streaming platform services, China can’t do anything about them so we should be good hopefully

Hmmmm not too sure. Could be a few reasons. A lot of people speculates it’s the censorship from the Chinese govt. Which in my opinion is understandable. This blew up like Revenged Love but my guess is like yours, the male pregnancy aspect of the show makes it a bit worse compared to RL. Pretty sure Chinese fans are using VPN to watch these BLs through the streaming platforms or through piracy (illegal websites). And China probably hates the idea their citizens are being “poisoned” by these ideologies/beliefs that homosexual relationships are morally correct. So even though it’s aired internationally (outside of China), but it was filmed in Taiwan. This is a bit political to put here, but there’s this so-called ‘One China principle’ which China govt recognizes and claims Taiwan as a part of China and is under their jurisdiction. So technically speaking, yes, the series should have been submitted to go through censorship but there’s a loophole (international streaming). Since the author used the loophole to bypass censorship, there is still a way for Chinese govt to soft ban this. WeTV, iQIYI and Youku are Chinese streaming platform services so they are still under regulations of the Chinese govt whether a series is aired domestically, internationally or both. Do you think the company would risk being blacklisted from airing any Chinese dramas domestically (you have to remember these platforms are still being used widely by Chinese ppl) or just to remove one series and lose out on a small profit? They have to choose the better scenario which makes me worried a little bit abt Youku and iQIYI. Another reason why WeTV removed the series is made by another user post. They said the series was sold to too many streaming platform services so there’s a lot of competition. The company may see that there’s not a lot of profit they will get back on their end so they decide to not air it anymore. Either way, we don’t know what’s really going on, all are just our speculations to why bc the author didn’t say any reason why the series was removed on WeTV.

Could someone please help me understand. How did Hua Yong know that Shao You liked the scent of orchids? Or did…
Shaoyou is an alpha so he likes to court omegas. If you remember in the first episode, Hua Yong gathered and researched 32 exes/friends w/ benefits of Shaoyou to study what Shaoyou likes in an omega. It's not about the scent, but rather their beautiful and fragile appearance and how they act/behave certain ways that make Shaoyou likes them. This was like the first 5 minutes of the show. And to answer your question regarding Hua Yong's natural scent, yes it's an orchid scent.

No sound reason even in the novel!
Yea Shaoyou was attacked twice and both were plotted by his half-brother. The first attack was the kidnapping and poisonous injection that almost cost Shaoyou's life, but the bond btw Hua Yong and Shaoyou saved his life. The enigma's power is shared to their partner and enigma has the ability to detoxify poison so Shaoyou's life was saved at that time. The second attack happened when Hua Yong and Shaoyou went out to dinner with Shaoyou's half-brother. Shaoyou's half-brother wanted to damaged Shaoyou's gland with a knife after drugging both of them, but Hua Yong took that hit covering for Shaoyou. I think you got confused there, but Hua Yong was the one with the damaged gland. But with Hua Yong enigma's super healing power, his gland healed up just fine after staying in the hospital for a few days. In fact, Shaoyou's gland was never damaged in the first place (had to go back to the novel for this lol). The kidnappers from the first attack never successfully harmed Shaoyou's gland because Shaoyou is a more powerful and higher tier alpha than them. Even after the kidnappers injected pheromones inhibitor into Shaoyou's gland (to prevent Shaoyou from releasing his pheromones to suppress them) and continue their plan to cut out his glands, Shaoyou could still used his pheromones to defend himself, so they resulted in killing Shaoyou w/ that poisonous injection but not successfully due to Hua Yong's marking/bonding. The second attack Hua Yong covered for Shaoyou during his half-brother attack at the restaurant. Technically, everyone's glands are fine and healthy.

I know Gao Tu loves Shen, but why?! That asshole is irking my nerves something fierce!
I read the novel and the author didn't do a great job explaining the lore of Wenlang and Gao Tu's love story when they were in school tgt or as adults because they're not the main couple. It's very sad how their love story got rushed in the extra chapters, especially the part after Wenlang knew about Gao Tu's pregnancy and tryna get his man back. I hope that the author delves more into their past and develops their love story more in the series. It wasn't explicitly stated how or why Gao Tu came to like/love Wenlang but from my impression reading the novel, it's like 'love at first sight' for Gao Tu when he saw Wenlang. Wenlang's character setup is similar to a lot of modern romance Chinese drama's male lead where the male character is very handsome, smart, athletic, and popular in school. There are very little details on their high school time tgt in the novel, but at least them as adults, Wenlang was kind to him. Wenlang knew about Gao Tu's sister situation so he gave Gao Tu a high salary (more than the job market avg) to cover for his sister's medical expenses and daily life necessities. Even when Wenlang said a lot of mean things to Gao Tu, there were some moments that Wenlang called or checked up on Gao Tu in person when Gao Tu was sick or absent from work. It's those little caring moments that kept Gao Tu's love for Wenlang going.

I like your general explanation to the question. Good to see how other omegaverse universe approach the alpha pregnancy aspect. In this novel, the author explained that biting the alpha's gland and injecting the enigma's pheromones into the gland will help growing a uterus and strengthening the uterine lining for pregnancy. Also, the author of this novel doesn't explicitly explain whether the uterus dissolved or not after giving birth. But in one of the extra chapters about Hua Yong and Shaoyou's marriage life after their child was born, Shaoyou was joking/teasing Hua Yong about having another child bc the kid wants to be a big brother. So from this context, I assume the uterus is still intact. And if you like to know how Shaoyou's uterus developed, I made a reply to a post due to misinformation and had to correct it.

So in general, the author creates different rules for their omegaverse universe. I know the typical omegaverse universe is that alpha is the most superior being and they can impregnate omega. I know in some omegaverse, beta can be impregnated by alpha and some others beta can't get pregnant. But again, this is up to the author how they want to set up their omegaverse universe. So for this omegaverse universe, alpha can get pregnant only if they get marked by an enigma. An enigma in this universe is a more superior being than alpha and once an enigma and an alpha are bonded with each other, enigma's pheromones that get inside the alpha's body will modify the alpha's body and a uterus will eventually form. Hua Yong is an enigma and Shaoyou is an alpha. Hua Yong impregnated Shaoyou later in the novel after Hua Yong marked Shaoyou.

Hua Yong in fact impregnated Shaoyou. In the novel, during Shaoyou's rut after he learned that Hua Yong wasn't an omega and thought he was an alpha (this is after the earthquake and kidnapping events), they were being intimate w/ each other and Hua Yong did not use protection. Shaoyou didn't even know that he could get pregnant until he was at the hospital visiting his sick father and got a check-up afterwards because he was feeling nauseous and vomited in the bathroom. That's when he found out he was pregnant from the lab test and he confronted Hua Yong about it. Hua Yong first teased Shaoyou about him asking Hua Yong to do it w/o protection even though Hua Yong refused at first bc of the possibility he can make Shaoyou pregnant. And in this same chapter, that's when Shaoyou finally learned the truth about Hua Yong being an enigma and accepted his pregnancy bc enigma can in fact get alpha pregnant. Again, ARE WE READING THE SAME NOVEL LOL????

LMAOOOO ARE YOU SURE WE'RE READING THE SAME NOVEL??? Shaoyou was poisoned by the kidnapper from a lethal injection, but he was saved due to Hua Yong permanently marked/bonded with Shaoyou. Because Hua Yong's enigma pheromone is now in Shaoyou's body from the bonding and the fact that enigma is a more superior being than alpha, this modifies Shaoyou's body gradually as they continue to be intimate w/ each other later in the novel. That's how Shaoyou's body developed a uterus like an omega for the purpose of carrying a child. It's all Hua Yong's pheromones that make it possible.
