I don't rate shows before they've finished, but I understand the initial low ratings here. The first 3 eps have left me wholly underwhelmed. I don't feel connected to any of the characters, the pacing has managed to be both too slow *and* too choppy, and the narrative leaves a lot to be desired. If I hadn't known this was a romance going into it I wouldn't have pegged it as one.
Korean BL has been on a kick lately with consistently gripping series, so it makes To My Star's mediocre start more obvious imo. Maybe that's why others are rating it so low off the bat?
But I like the premise and I see a real potential here, so I'll be sticking with it. Hopefully the series finds its groove soon.
