They got pretty *close* at the beach. The "you made the sea my favorite place" or something along those lines…

Ah, that's so true. They never talked about it and if they did it off-screen, there haven't been any indications of that either.

Maybe for Latte it was a kinda comforting hand-hold since they've always been touchy with each other and they've practically been sticking to each other like glue; he only grabbed like two of Almond's fingers and then let go. Almond was the one to reach out and intertwine their fingers, so it's clear he's already fallen (plus his jealousy whenever one of Latte's "friends" come around him cause they seem to be everywhere in his words 😂).

I'd be a bit hesitant if I were Almond though. They really are gonna need one long conversation at some point. I'd also be a bit hesitant if I were Latte too; Almond kissed him cause he just wanted someone to like him...after all, everyone hated him at school at that point. I'd be thinking, "does he want ME or just SOMEONE to want him?" He needed a bit of comforting and reassurance.

Yeah, I can see how it doesn't feel all that romantic. Maybe the kiss inadvertently opened up some feelings and Latte might be a bit more oblivious or in denial or just isn't thinking about those things than Almond is currently.

No thoughts, just vibes

Poor Thanwa. I actually felt his heart breaking. Even on bad terms, imagine finding out the person you once loved…
They got pretty *close* at the beach. The "you made the sea my favorite place" or something along those lines (I forget the exact words) kinda felt like an indirect confession. They're more than friends, but less than boyfriends. I wonder who'd confess first, Latte or Almond.

I don't know if Almond would...or maybe he would. I haven't gauged his temperament yet. He gets jealous whenever he sees Latte meeting up with his "friends." Actually, maybe he would. Latte held like two of his fingers under the table and then pulled away, but Almond reached back out and actually held his hand. Yeah, I think Almond's always been pretty bold.

They were both looking at each so lovingly...they can't be in that denial/obliviousness stage. They gotta know something's up. I think it's progressing kinda naturally after the last episode (I did think things moved pretty fast last episode); their dynamic is still the same, with Almond always waking him up in the mornings and then their usual bickering. Just with the added affection (hand holding), although they've always been kinda touchy with each other (either teasingly or reassuringly, and I think it was more along the lines of reassurance and comfort this time, but they didn't want to let go).

Absolutely loved this one...I died when Shawn joined Jumper in beating the absolute shit out of Max—a couple that throws hands together stays together AND NO ONE MOVED A MUSCLE 😂😂

Latte legit stayed still besides Peak as the smackdown was going on (rightfully so after Max got Jumper kicked out his team) and Almond went to help Lukpeach (Lookpeach?) separate them 🤣

Hands down, best scene, stole the show for me, but the AlmondLatte hand holding was a very close second—they're so sweet together...I wonder when his mom's gonna make an appearance, imagine she pops up when Almond finally gets to see if Latte's the Aries with the birthmark on his dick omg💀

Anyways, Peak and Thanwa are a hot mess...as per usual. I don't think we can't blame all the miscommunication problems on Peak this time. I mean, does he suck with words? Yes, yes he does. Does he need to get his shit together? Yes, yes he does.

But Thanwa did move in with Max...and Max was constantly implying that something was brewing between them. Thanwa never agreed with him, but he never disagreed either. Peak's an overthinker. That wasn't making things better. Peak wasn't clearing up his situation with Jane, and Thanwa wasn't clearing his with Max. That was a whole mess. They honestly need to be locked in that closet one more time to air all this shit out smh.

They're both at fault when it comes to all these misunderstandings. It's hard to understand someone when you're not talking to each other, or if you are, you're not giving the full story. No wonder it's awkward between them when they're alone. Neither knows how to approach the other, cause they don't know how it'll be received or if it'll even be welcome.

Exhibit A: Peak gets Thanwa to turn around the second time, seems to want to say something...and says to check the chat since Latte and Almond miss him...and then turns and turns and turns a million times this episode (bro playing hide and go peak) but overthinks himself out of saying anything

Exhibit B: the first person Thanwa wants to tell he got his dream job is Peak, but he sends it to the group chat instead cause he doesn't know where he stands with Peak (and Peak probably didn't reply cause he thought it wasn't meant for him since they weren't on the best terms when Thanwa left...he did tell Thanwa to reach out to Almond and Latte, so he figured it was probably for them and not him...these two, man...)

It's frustrating both of them, but Peak's the one who lets his words out before he can even think about them.

Peak kinda tried communicating (valiantly by his standards, might I add) last episode, but his words were a whole jumbled mess. It sounded like he only wanted Thanwa around to cook (my GOD, they cannot survive without Thanwa 💀). In this episode, you can tell Peak actually missed Thanwa's presence. It's not just because he's useful around the house (which he def is). Latte compared him to a zombie without Thanwa around. He even headed to that restaurant they went to together a few episodes ago. He sincerely missed his company. But what was that eating scene, why was he eating like that 💀? It reminded me of Ross and Monica from Friends: "I grew up with Monica, if you didn't eat fast, you didn't eat!" Who's been threatening to snatch his food? Or has he not eaten well since Thanwa left, like what was that 😭? I know he's a fast eater, like when he first ate at that place with Thanwa, but this seemed like another level (and he ate fast just to get to a work meeting that time). This was a desperate kinda eating, like you-gotta-get-on-a-plane-in-thirty-minutes desperate. And bro choked on the grass jelly...hell of a way to reconnect with your crush/friend who moved out cause you told him to just move in with his ex cause you were jealous. Start choking and (inadvertently) get out of paying the bill, that kinda cracked me up cause he was the one who wanted to pay together and not separate 😂😂😂

Anyways, Thanwa's not gonna make a move first cause he's still not sure of the whole PeakJane engagement. Peak's not gonna make a move cause that would involve him going back home first to resolve said engagement...and that would also involve Thanwa clarifying the whole Max situation as well. They've both jumped to conclusions about the other. But I think we're getting close to that moment. Peak's kinda been building up his courage, just kinda going about it in the wrong ways.

Although I have a bit of a question...Thanwa didn't seem all that surprised when the gang confronted Max about filming Shawn and Jumper...has Max done anything like that to him WHILE they were dating?? Did he assault him before too? That's kinda the impression I got...or was it just that he knew his ex was scum and didn't put it past him?

Man, Thanwa deserves the world.

(This got long, oops)

What was Thanwa trying to do by hiding the camera?
Thanwa's probably clueless and wary about it, he's not tech savvy like Peak...for all he knows, they could see *something* he doesn't want anyone else to see with that device...maybe idk...?

Nowhere near done with the ep but I just gotta mention: Almond is WAAAYY too nice. After jumper puked and shat…
I know, he was wronged so badly and forgave so easily, no one else let him get a word in to even hear his side of the story...

I don’t dislike Thanwa at all.In fact, his flaws make him even more endearing. Let’s face it, everyone has…
OOH, I didn't think about it like that, I completely overlooked his whole "should I go for a stable job or a job I love?" conflict, which is kinda sad considering it's been going on for a few episodes 😂

I thought that Thanwa made the decision on an impulse. He's never seemed like a fickle character to me, so he stuck with it all through the end. Compared to Peak, I feel like he's usually pretty certain about the decisions he makes. He sticks with them and doesn't doubt it; like he said, whatever decision he makes will be the best one. Unlike Peak, who's always stuck with trying to make the "right" decision and who doesn't want any regrets, but always second-guesses himself into doing absolutely nothing.

Though I didn't get the impression that he gave Max any signs of getting back together with him. Max tried kissing him last episode and Thanwa didn't like that. The whole episode, he was like "we're just friends." He wasn't all that focused on him at the dinner table. I think his eyes strayed more over to Peak than him. I don't get the impression he's using him to fund his passions. He hasn't quit his job and he didn't even make the decision to move in with Max until Peak practically pushed him in that direction with his jealousy (which was in the span of a few minutes). That really was a total low blow.

I didn't think he was thinking about his "job I love vs job that is stable" dilemma in that moment—every other moment, for sure.

That line where Max was like, Thanwa doesn't need to stress over the shower was pretty interesting. He most definitely had a high sense of security with him; it seems like he depended quite a bit on him (he didn't even have a job until now, unless you count his occasional work with Krit, which wouldn't pay that well). So on the bright side, it's not like things are going back to the way they were before they broke up the first time. Thanwa's more independent now and he still isn't sure about officially getting back together with him. I think they're on more equal footing now.

I think he was just thinking about distancing himself from Peak since there doesn't seem to be much hope there with the little bits of info he's scrounged up and I don't know, but I figured it would've taken him a bit longer to move out on his own (though I do wonder how he'd get out of that lease, like is he still gonna be paying the rent in the meantime?? 🤔), so he took his easiest way out. He might have tried saving his emotional stability, but with Max...who knows if it'll stay intact for long?

Thanwa's doing the best he can and I hope he figures things out. Definitely cheering for him ✊

On Knock Knock, Boys! Jul 5, 2024
I love all these boys (but GODDAMN, Thanwa and Peak are squeezing the life out of my heart).

This whole situation is killing me, thank God we had something nice with Almond and Latte. Latte was so sweet with Almond, taking him to the beach just cause he wanted to go...and Latte just...doesn't like them cause his family practically disintegrated at one. He took Almond there despite of all the bad memories. I am so glad Almond hugged him, I was basically talking to my screen like, "HUG THE POOR BOY COME ON OH HE DID IT YES YES HUG HIM!"

I kinda get Peak though, I mean I think he's naturally just a very detached/distant kind of person. When he first got to the house, Thanwa was the one to make the first move. Thanwa all but beat their friendship into him and got through Peak's walls. Peak was NOT into socializing much with Thanwa in the beginning and warmed up to him bit by bit. Plus he sucks with his words and I think he knows that very well. They do not come out the way he expects them to (and I relate HARD to that). So he tried with gestures, going all out with the food for dinner and even trying to give Thanwa the key when he was leaving (even though I don't get why, that house is always open, anyone can get in tbh, that key's never gonna be used). It hurt when Thanwa rejected that, but it makes sense. It's his way of distancing himself. He tries, but it doesn't always work out...like when he got the job and Peak was genuinely happy for him and they actually seemed to return to their normal, without the awkwardness nor the distance.

Thanwa likes Peak, but Peak's not good with his words and hasn't cleared anything up. Being near him probably kills him inside (again, very relatable), so he's putting some distance between them. I know I've done that when I felt I was in a bit of an unrequited crush situation. The only thing is, I did not go to an ex (and this ex clearly did things Thanwa did not approve, I mean Thanwa was so intent on not getting back to him the last two episodes and had his set of grievances with Max). This whole episode he was distant with Peak, and he's never been that way before until the whole Jane-Peak thing. That talk with Jane realllyyyyyy fucked things up. I get she had good intentions and maybe she assumed Peak had communicated with Thanwa, or she was just trying to get Thanwa to push for Peak to go back home and finally resolve everything. Maybe she was trying to add in more pressure. But all in all, that...did not work...Thanwa made an impulsive decision fueled by his emotions.

And Peak, once again, sucks with his words. He proved it when he all but gave Thanwa the idea to move out. He was the catalyst. He regretted it and that finally pushed him to try to confess to Thanwa, but again, words are not his forte. He likes spending time with Thanwa; he's a picky eater but he's eaten everything Thanwa's made. He's gone with Thanwa reviewing food from restaurants. He def would have gone with him last episode without a doubt if Jane hadn't cut in (no hate, she really tried getting through to Peak during their time in the store). It wasn't cause he wanted to keep eating Thanwa's food and depending on Thanwa over that. I don't know why he said that, but he sucks at communication and he probably was kicking himself over his choice of words afterwards. He likes his company and he likes Thanwa (my guy slept on the floor in his bedroom), but he keeps overthinking to the point he doesn't know how to convey anything. I think Best portrays that pretty well; Peak's not really an outwardly emotional character, he's a bit distant, he's not the most social, and he's a little awkward sometimes. He doesn't seem like the type to break down and suddenly give a passionate, articulate speech of how much he loves Thanwa. I don't think he's assertive enough to say something that strong in one go. My dude tried, I have to give him points.

Next week's gonna be pretty fun tho. Peak's got the same clothes in the preview that he had on in the teaser where he kicked a cabinet or a wall or something, so dude is frustrated. I think frustration would push him out of that passive shell he's always stuck in. And I don't know exactly, but it looks like Thanwa has the same clothes on like in the teaser, in that scene where he's in an altercation with Max. So next week's gonna be interesting. Maybe it'll lead to Peak and Thanwa actually talking (or at least not being as distant and awkward around each other like they have been recently) or something much less passive...cause the situation they're finding themselves in is pretty serious, what with someone (potentially Max?) secretly filming and invading people's privacy.

This got long, I wasn't expecting that lol. I just love this show and those four walking disasters. They're human. They're not gonna start out making all the right decisions, this is all part of their character development. We all have our moments where we're like, "shit why did I say that, I should've said this instead" or "man why didn't I explain the whole goddamn thing" or "how do I actually go about this, will I get ridiculed, will I make things worse, will they even understand"

😂 He really does, this probably wouldn't be as heartbreaking if he hadn't hesitated so much at the store (I am way too invested in Peak's character) 😭

Latte’s our saving grace right now. Man, Max really rubs me the wrong way, like I’m not buying what he ‘s trying to sell. I hate that Than’s played into his hands, but all for the plot and for Peak to WAKE up . It was so uncalled for to kick Jumper off the team, that was not necessary, he got punished when he was the victim. He worked so hard for it too, maybe he’ll get a better opportunity

Oh, so they did warn us, we just didn't realize 😂. I didn't think it was gonna be like this either, I was ready to laugh every five seconds. But then ep 5 came along. That angst came out of nowhere in that intro, I was like "wut 😳?" Everyone's getting hit with the suffering, first Almond and now Peak and Thanwa. I wonder if Latte's gonna have his turn. I hope not 😭

Seriously…my guy’s going through it. He’s in an arranged marriage and he’s a bit cowardly to face it until Jane comes. And she’s got her work cut out, poor girl. First he gathers the courage to confess at the store, loses Thanwa and gets trampled when he FINALLY finds him, loses him again…and then later Max is over there at the house clutching onto Thanwa and then gets kidnapped sometime along the way like bruh 😭 (i’m too invested in this series)
