The one word I'm never forgetting thanks to this drama - karakai
E6 - E7 were so bittersweet. MY POOR BABIES :(( SERIOUSLY HAVEN'T HAD A ROMANCE DRAMA GIVE ME THESE KIND OF FEELS IN A WHILE The urge to just pull them close and force all those unspoken feelings out loud. Growing up is tough.. sigh.
What an underrated and bittersweet coming-of-age film with beautiful performances by Chris Wu, Sandrine Pinna, and Alice Ke. The soundtrack really hit the right spots in elevating the characters' feelings. I felt sad for all 4 of them.
As long as the screenwriter is the same.. please tell me that has not changed.
For me the script and acting was the most winning point of the first season, but yes I do hope the new director can live up to the predecessor, and doesn't mess up the screenplay. Sometimes a bad director can ruin a good script. Fingers crossed!
How can an old woman, like someone aged 40, engage in marriage fraud?
Why not? In this day and age, even people above 60-70 are getting together with younger men/women or engaging in fraud on dating apps . Also, 40 is the beginning of middle age. Someone who is 40 is not considered 'old'.
Nice to see you here~ I was wondering if this was worth the watch... Given your comments, I'm gonna give this…
It is a warm and feel-good drama to watch a long stressful day. Brings me back to my youth, when everything was simpler. Let me know how you find it after you watch :)
Oh how I adore movies like these! Set in a small cottage overlooking the sea, this was a simple, feel-good and heartwarming movie about a little boy bringing light into his father's bleak, lonely world. Bin Bin and Vic Zhou made the most adorable father/son duo, and the supporting characters (Ella Chen and her little daughter) were equally wholesome. I couldn't help but root for all of them to be a family. They were the perfect four! Highly recommended for all :)
Ahh I see.. sorry I had no idea. Good luck with whatever that you're busy with. And thank you for your hard work subbing the 1st season. All of us truly appreciate it :)
Japan seriously does slice-of-life best.

There are far better shoujo manga romance dramas.
Stay strong, and don't give up.
YOU GOT THIS!!
