Shinnyushatachi no Bansan Tsuiraku JK to Haijin Kyoshi Enjiya Kenshiro ni Yoroshiku Ima Koko ni Aru Kiki to Boku no Kokando ni Tsuite Crime Family Jigoku-no-Hanazono: Office Royale The Inheritance (1962)
Finally managed to finish a drama from the Phillipines after the countless dramas that I dropped. PHEWWW.
For a Wattpad story that was probably written by a teenager, this was a decent time pass with all the cliches that worked well. Neither too complex, nor too sugary sweet. The leads were hot, had great chemistry, and all the characters were sweet and supportive. All in all, an average drama.
Special mention for the ML, who is one beautiful and fine human (like every comment has emphasised). His looks and charm clearly overcompensated the average acting. It's safe to assume that a lot of the audience checked this out thanks to him, including me! Also happy to know that the leads are madly in love in real life, like you can see how they openly appreciate and shower their affection for each other.
I hope that she'll go back to doing some Taiwanese dramas as well, esp something with Ming Dao or Ethan Ruan. Love her pairing with both these men so so much!
I appreciate this part of your review"I love that the show represented characters of different age groups (right…
I just re-read my review because I had forgotten about it HAHA thank you, I am glad you appreciated it :) Beyond all the fun, this show was very progressive and smartly written. And yes, if not a S2 then even a special episode with tons of Sora/Hikaru and Aoi/Gon will do for me. I really want to see these characters again!
A disturbing and powerful character-driven story depicting the ML's psyche and how his sexual addiction came to be, from his desire to be loved and belong, to the perversion that began to take shape in his adolescence given the exposure he had to sex since he was a baby, the parental neglect and disdain he faced from his father and the confusions he had to grapple with over his identity. What a journey told in 1h 50 mins! The director clearly didn't waste a single minute / frame and got to the story the moment the film started.
It's worth watching once for the fantastic performances by the cast, the hard-hitting story and writing, and brilliant direction. But before that, please read the tags and watch out for triggers mainly nudity, sex scenes, rape, and incest.
come in, we havea stalker and the victim who are living together (sally and soseki)an ojisan dating a college…
HAHAHA I adored each and every character and their relationships so so much. Even Ojisan and Sally. I remember watching this and feeling how I wish I was part of their world...
Now I gotta go and re-watch this. Thanks for refreshing the memories.
