The movie was decent but this sequel left a lot to be desired. I can't help but wonder why this sequel was even…
I don't understand the purpose of Makoto being alive, and hiding from his best friend Kida. Why the hell did the show not explore that?! Aren't they supposed to be best friends? This is supposed to be Kida and Makoto's story, so why the focus only on Kida, that too when Makoto is alive. If Makoto was dead, I would understand this being Kida's story. In the end, it wasn't even Kida's story purely and more the other characters' stories which barely had anything to do with Kida and Makoto.

I wanted to see more of the leads and their respective stories, esp Makoto's, rather than the supporting characters who Kida was involved with due to his job as a negotiator.
And yes, this has to be said - the score of both the movie and this series is GOLD.
The story was pretty predictable, but the way it unfolded made it an engaging watch till the end. Having said that, there are definitely better written 'revenge' movies out there if you're fond of this genre. This was strictly decent.
I was so damn excited to watch this but now I'm not going to watch it. Editing a main cast member out screams disaster. Also, YAH should be given the apt punishment for breaching the law, but he didn't do anything that justifies cancelling him. Like seriously bullies, murderers, rapists etc run scott free and return to the screen, but he can't because he consumed drugs?!
I will boycott South Korean cinema if this man doesn't make a comeback. Seriously it's not like he murdered , raped or assaulted someone. He consumed the drugs for himself. I get that he breached the laws of the land, so punish him and get over with it. Why should he not be able to make a livelihood because of that? Also he is literally the best, if not one of the best actors from South Korea. It's such a shame to lose the talent he has.
I actually appreciate how selfish and flawed all 3 leads are. Maybe I'm growing older but I enjoy these complicated / messy plots over the usual fluff.
I just watched a Japanese drama with a dentist ML and he was pretty charming.
HAHA

Can't recommend it enough.

Thank you for taking the trouble to re-share it with me :)

They aired 1 episode per year, from 1997-2001.
It's a MUST WATCH :)
I can't seem to find it anywhere.
