You can't go wrong with two headstrong leads who love to hate each other and are also dorky [cue: ML] Bonus, they cohabitate together. What fun! The secondary characters were also very likeable. Recommended for all romance lovers. It was a short and cute love story with some really heartwarming moments. I loved it.
You would think so but she also has to deal with sketchy people and travel a lot and be placed in dangerous settings…
Yeah I know every job has its pros and cons. It's not easy to be able to hear lies all the time and there is a lot of heartbreak that comes with it. Plus dealing with sketchy people, like you said. But her job definitely has pros. Most of us slave each day and still earn minimum wages or slightly above while she makes huge money doing literally nothing. Like she never has to upgrade her skills or gain more knowledge because she is just relying on her supernatural power. That's definitely lucky.
Oh man, where do I even begin.. This film broke my heart. It felt like I was watching a person's soul being ripped apart into pieces bit by bit, going from colour to colourless. Yuka was far from an ideal person. She lied, and she cheated but she did not deserve to be treated without respect or humanity. We often tend to think that people who wronged us or do "wrong" deserve all the bad things that life throws at them. But we forget that at the end of the day, we're all human and we hurt the same regardless of how high our morals are.
Hats off to Ishikawa Ruka for such a fantastic performance. Kaneko Daichi was great too. They were real and believable in every chapter of this journey. This was a film clearly made with a lot of care, given the nuanced writing and the little details of the way the styling and cinematography reflected the characters' state of mind. Anyone who's been part of a toxic relationship will relate to it.
Highly highly recommended for all those who want to watch a painfully real, mature love story. This one deserves all the accolades.
Me likes a wild plot twist that I could never predict. I'm probably in the minority but I loved it LOL. I enjoyed…
Yes the plot twist of him assuming her brother's identity is bizarre but I think that makes it interesting. I am curious how they would continue to live together because society would see them as bro/sis when they are actually lovers. Not to mention incest is a forbidden fantasy for many.

The leads had great chemistry and their love story was pretty passionate. The fact that they were able to love and accept each other the way was kinda moving. The way the suspense built up was pretty good too. I do wish this was longer because I would have loved to see more of their backstory and psychology.
Baek Kyung / Dan Oh FTW!
