Different vibe IMO. The leads get physically intimate and have sex in April Snow unlike In the Mood for Love and Ukiwa, where the focus is more on emotional infidelity, and the sexual tension which never truly gets resolved because they don't get physically intimate. It's really about the little details, the mood and yearning in Ukiwa and In the Mood for Love, unlike April Snow.

I doubt she's as popular as she was in the 90s and early 2000s. She's not as active in the business either, mostly doing support roles once in a while.
"I shall look back on having loved.." Ahhh this film was right up my alley. This is one of those blockbuster epic romances that span across borders and decades. The grandeur, the era it was set in, the cinematography, and direction. It sucked me right in, like I was right there soaking in the summer heat. The electrifying chemistry between the leads from the way they looked at each other, the kisses, the sex... that passion and yearning. Nakayama Miho and Nishijima Hidetoshi were so so sexy and beautiful together. I felt all the emotions they went through. I loved everything about this. HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMENDED FOR ALL, ESPECIALLY ROMANCE LOVERS.
