Fukuda Yuichi doesn't disappoint!
A well-casted, quirky and fun re-telling of Cinderella and Red Riding Hood. I enjoyed this, and would definitely love to see more of such stories! Oh how I wish this was made into a mini-series.
Highly highly recommended for all :)

It is very slow paced. I won't say I love it, but it's not bad. Also, it's not light, though not as dark as J dramas.
If you want something really light, I recommend Kekkon Dekinai Otoko if you haven't seen it. I think you'll like it.

What a fantastic actress. You can tell she's picky with her projects given that they're all such quality dramas.

Different vibe IMO. The leads get physically intimate and have sex in April Snow unlike In the Mood for Love and Ukiwa, where the focus is more on emotional infidelity, and the sexual tension which never truly gets resolved because they don't get physically intimate. It's really about the little details, the mood and yearning in Ukiwa and In the Mood for Love, unlike April Snow.
