Watching this while the world is battling with COVID made this so much more compelling for me because a similar situation is playing out in the world today. The story, the acting, the writing, the music - everything about this was awesome (and this is coming from someone who's not a huge sci-fi fan) Special mention to Ito Hideaki who hit it out of the park with his acting, sometimes I forgot that he's playing both the twins. And Desert Rose by Sting - what a fitting iconic song for this drama! Highly recommended for everyone who is into the mystery / sci-fi genre.
I wish they came up with a better title for this drama because I almost didn't want to watch it because of the title. Coming to the drama, I liked it. It was a little slow paced but it didn't bore me, and I found myself engaged in all the characters throughout. It ticked all the boxes for me. The characters, and all the couples were sweet and it was nice to see them navigate through their lives, and grow. It's been really long since I watched a Taiwanese drama where I didn't dislike any character. It's no masterpiece, but definitely worth a try, especially if you're looking for something light, sweet & heartwarming in parts.
Not the best movie made by Kurosawa but it was worth watching. It took me some time but I was sucked into the movie after the first 30 minutes or so. Unlike the usual gangster / yakuza movies that are action-packed, brutal & stylish, this had its share of slower contemplative moments which explored beyond all that violence & power. Mifune Toshiro, as always, never disappoints. The doctor, played by Shimura Takashi, however really moved me with his performance. We need more people like the doctor in this world; headstrong, compassionate, sincere & kind.
I've been telling myself not to start this so soon because it will only finish airing in April. With deep regret, I have to say that I wasn't successful in my resolve and I have started this. Don't know if I should be happy because it's good, or sad because I started it too soon.
Beautiful performance by Roy Chiu (as always). Tiffany Hsu complemented him really well. This movie was worth a watch for their beautiful chemistry despite the cliched plot.
I've seen him in a number of dramas but I can say that I've fallen in love with him after Yasha. A great actor who's also quite the looker. Now I need to see more of his main roles.

I CAN'T BELIEVE WE GOT A SEASON 2 OF THIS GEM.
I AM SO EXCITEDDDD!!

Just watch porn instead of this. This was such a waste of time.
He has made so many brilliant movies.
Somebody, please recommend me some light-hearted or passionate BL stories, thank you :)
