I am new to Tagalog films & watched her with Enrique in Just the Way You Are. They're lovely together! Came on this page & realised they're dating & have done many projects together. That makes me so happy lol, can't wait to watch more of them <3
Hey you're welcome, I hope you did watch most of them.
I did watch a lot of them, and couldn't agree more with what you said. There's something about the older dramas that hit you differently - the simplicity, the vibe, the innocence yet complexity, the music, the chemistry.. basically I could just go on & on.
There's just something about older J dramas & movies that hit you differently - the vibe, the music, the simplicity (yet complexity) of the characters, the way people interacted, the romance, the chemistry. I can see why this was so popular back in the day. It's a classic. There was an innocence & sincerity to the storytelling that moved me. It got me reminiscing about growing up in simpler times. All in all, this was a lovely coming of age drama that left me feeling good. The second half especially took me by surprise (in a good way) with the focus on friendship, ambition & taking charge of your own life; all that emodies transitioning into a young adult. Also, I am downloading that OST! I loved it so so much. Highly recommended for anyone who wants to watch a simple, feel good drama with a high nostalgic value.
I really enjoyed this drama. So so good. Just the right amount of humour, yet it managed to stay grounded and real. I appreciated the friendship between the 3 women, their growth and the flawed characters overall. I didn't dislike any of the characters. Maybe because I am of a similar age group as the 3 women, I related strongly to how they felt. Really good writing, acting and OST. Recommended for a slightly older / mature audience who understand that relationships aren't always hunky dory and that doing the right thing is easier said than done. Heck, whoever said that we always have to do the right thing; life is far beyond rights and wrongs.
I just started this and didn't realise Suzuki Ryohei was in this too! I loved his pairing with Yoshitaka in Hanako to Anne so much! I hope they will be paired together in this too :)
Happy to know that they're together!
