the cases are actually interesting and do serve as a backdrop for young woo's development. To be honest the romance line does not really overshadow the entire show in terms of plot, but rather because it is done so effectively within its limited 'appearances' that it becomes the main conversation.

what I have dreaded is coming...it does not seem like the show will be satisfyingly concluded within 16 episodes with season 2 coming..miss the time when kdramas end in 16 episodes. Multiple season shows hardly retain their original charm and/or effective storytelling.

now im half-expecting the ending to suck...multiple seasons tend to degrade the quality of the show over time, eg. hospital playlist s2 vs s1.

Bring me back to the time when dramas didnt need multiple seasons.

felt like I watched a completely different second half of the drama

can't believe just a week ago I told myself I managed to watch a legendary drama...

This drama will not to be everyone's liking but this drama isn't made with younger audiences in mind. And slice-of-life dramas will always be oriented towards more mature audiences :)

but there is no real revelation from Songhwa, which we all desperately need..though the episode does imply that Chihong is out of the picture.
