I love Xiao Zhan also but I hope people didn't come to watch this just because of him. So far this drama is sooo good that it does not need Xiao Zhan to promote in my opinion. So for those who will complain not enough Xiao Zhan I hope you give this actor Zhang Ruo Yun a chance , he is really good. I love this drama all the interaction very witty (bec he is from this era) and just overall loving it. All the other actor also pretty well rounded. I know some people might kill me but I think its better than Untamed so far up to Ep 7 raw now. I will comment again after show ends to see if it live up to my expectation though.
They are releasing nothing but patriotic and non-edgy (really boring) stuff because of their 70 year anniversary.

No it was not a kiss just talking , I saw another view and Wang Yibo was just talking but his head is turn to Xiao Zhan, Depending on the angle which side the camera was taken . I saw both angle, one look like kiss, the other you will see its actually not , well we hope it was a kiss though LOL

I have read the novel before watching the drama and some anime but not interested in audio though. I like watching drama more. Also want to see more of Xiao Zhan and Wang Yi bo LOL

But I never like Mei Qi even when she was doing Produce 101, I always thought she is over rated (my opinion ) There are other girls in Produce 101 that I like way better than her. Also I find her very old looking even though she is young, she looks like in her mid thirties, she is not ugly just looks old and tired
watched The Untamed 2x already and still can't move on to other cdrama , I hope the Wolf comes out soon or another Wuxia/fanstasy comes out soon so I can move on.
I love this drama soo much I am buying merchandise lol , I bought the 2 big plush doll and 2 tiny ones , also got a booklet of photos and postcards. I never bought anything when watching any shows drama/anime etc but this is a first for me, going to miss this alot
I don't really like watching this era type of drama but only watch it for Xu Kai and Bailu, I did lots of fast forward only to watch scene that have one or both in it. Story line pretty typical during this era so I can fast forward a lot to watch the funny parts
I was hoping to get to see a big smile on Lan Zhan face , too bad they did not have that, but I am still very satisfied bec. to me its a happy ending bec. Wei Ying was smiling really wide , to me he found happiness finally.
When I was watching the last part when both were playing instrument by the water , I keep telling myself ok stop now this is a happy ending lol, was worried they will part at the end LOL
reason why Jin Guang Yao is the way he is all bec. of bad parenting, I kind of feel sorry for him, abuse all through out his life and become twisted. On another note, he is a great actor , he acted well I would like to see him in other drama.
The ending: Both of them look at each other and smile. Then, Lan Zhan calls "Wei Yin" and Wei Yin looks at him.
The ending I saw is Wei Yin playing the flute and he heard Lan zhan called him, then wei yin turn around and smiled. But not showing any Lan Zhan smiling face , same ending right ? TY
