I love this drama up to ep 15, I don't mind the slow pace. No action fighting drama but slow building with lots of words. Everyday I look forward to watching this drama. Kind of remind me of reading Gone with the wind, Jane Eyre or something like that LOL

Right now I am at ep 22 and i still find it very interesting , i have not read the book so have no expectation. To me its a journey of growing up and finding goals in life. I think some people find the main characters annoying but I think the actors have to portray themselves as teenagers . Lin Dong for sure is very immature but he needs to grow up fast , Huan huan typical teenage girl angst , Qing Zhu and Lang tian both more mature than the other two. Only person i find very irritating is the little sister , want to skip all her part. Also the story line is very slow pace so reason why Lin Dong is not maturing fast enough still playful kid unless he is suppose to be a happy go lucky guy. For sure its not Ashes of Love (love story) or Bloody Romance ( melodrama/love story) . This is more of adventure story.
