This is a devastatingly bittersweet movie about finding love in the most unexpected of places, while feeling pressured by those around you to conform to societal expectations, and it is really realistic with the portrayal of the struggles and discrimination of queer people at the time. The chemistry between the both of them is unbeatable for me, I have never seen anything like it! The intimacy scenes in this movie are shot beautifully, I literally teared up in one of the scenes, the emotion these two actors portray is really something special. And the ending was just perfect! 10/10 for me, definitely one of the best movies I have watched in my life, everything about it was beautiful. It was on my watch list for a while, as I never got round to watching it, but I am so glad I decided to. It’s perfect if you want a good cry! I still can’t believe that this is based on a true story, my heart aches for what those two boys must have had to go through. ‘Your Name Engraved Herein’ is a movie which is definitely going to stick with me for a long time.

The storyline is kept interesting throughout and the pacing is just perfect, with a really beautiful development of all couples throughout. Honestly, this series is one of the only ones I’ve seen where they don’t romanticise toxic relationships, which is really refreshing to see! The communication between all couples is amazing, and the chemistry is the cutest. Would definitely recommend!

So much chemistry between these couples!! Don’t like the way this show romanticised toxic relationships though…

Everyone say thank you to Poppy for providing some much needed comedic relief throughout this series 😅

Overall, this series seems extremely strange to me… it basically promotes toxic relationships to the point where it is almost nauseating! However, Mew and Gulf both played their roles very well, I just wish their skills were put to use on a drama without such a messy plot!
