Perfect one day binge.
Not too short, not too long. Plenty of character development. Very heartfelt with depth but not in a suffocating way. Hits closer to home, with some realistic issues most go through more than led on by society. Great romance as well that wraps up perfectly!I like how mental illness is portrayed and isn’t magically cured either. Both leads still have their issues but have found a way to live with it and find happiness as well. It leaves the story feeling more authentic as they feel like real people with real circumstances.

the genres are a bit misleading
i went into this thinking it was a romcom. the film includes those, yet theres so much more..the ending is abrupt and left me feeling empty. it was the last thing i wanted to happen. the FL went into the relationship with doubts but i had hope they would overcome it. i was disappointed when she just gave up so easily.
also, i dont know why a cafe owner would tell a random girl having relationship issues a story that ended with the man k**ing himself.
overall just a messy, tragic story.

not bad, but not the best
I went into this without knowing or hearing a single thing about it, just that it had a well written story. I always love stories that wrap around and connect everything in the end. This movie in fact did that, but not in a very satisfying way. Until maybe the last 15 minutes, I thought they couldn’t be together because her parents didn’t like him. Then my mind was blown when I found out his aunt’s son was the same person from the beginning. I didn’t find it predictable, which in a way could be good - but I found it more random and doing too much instead. I wasn’t fond of how she had to forget her past lover in order to move on. I find that to be a bad moral of the story. To move past the loss of someone you shouldn’t try to forget them, but accept what had happened. Also a lot of her sass seemed to just be comedic relief and no actual relevance to the story. Was this review helpful to you?
