Ah the last 10 episodes were so heartbreaking and tragic :/ At first I felt like it should have ended before episode 40 but the last 10 episodes gave me so much feels that I can't not love it. Also I cannot believe how the fool Yom Byung Soo survived for 51 episodes. -_-
I found it funny how sometimes it was only Wang Yoo and his like four/five men confronting a group of soldiers yet when they're fighting there's randoms in the background fighting each other, lol. I know it's for visual purposes but yeah,
I was hesitant to start this drama for two reasons: the number of episodes and the fact that I never liked a historical kdrama enough to finish it. But I'm so glad I gave Empress Ki a chance because I loved it! Even though there are 51 episodes, I didn't find a single one of them boring. There were flaws but still really good. All feels.
I think Tal Tal was my favourite character. :P
Warning: Unpopular opinion :P
Honestly, I watched ep 1-9 for the eye candy and then it started getting good around ep 10-15 and then it went downhill again for me :/
Felt like there were so many plot holes and I wasn't a fan of the couple.
Loved Jung Hoo's relationship with his Teacher and the Hacker Ahjumma though.
Finished it because of JCW. Gosh he's cute.
PS - Just my thoughts. Not trying to bash or offend anyone.
I think I'm gonna try this since so many people are saying that it's better than the Korean version. o:
This will be my first Jdrama so we'll see how this goes.
I ended up dropping this, even though i only had 4 episodes left to watch. Its not that its a bad drama. Its just....…
Aw, if you only had 4 more to go, you should have just skipped to the last episode. I wanted to drop it too at around where you got to because the main girl was just really stupid and annoying. But the ending was really good and made it worth watching. :P
The series ended up revolving around the secondary male lead instead of the two main leads. That's just bad if…
Yeah, I agree that there was a bit too much focus on the secondary couple and not enough Xiao Bei and Tian Qi. Also, I didn't really like any of the supporting characters. :/

Loved it from start to end.
