The last two episodes were not the most watched TV show of the day among cable channels unlike its other episodes. The fact that the last episode was neither the highest rated episode of the series itself nor of the day, it somehow indicates that people were not excited of the finale.

I must say that I liked Start -Up, I guess till episode 13-14, last 2-3 episodes were a let down, especially episode 14. Many things didn't make any sense. Ending could have been a lot better. And writer should have focused more on other aspects than the love triangle.

It was confirmed by the production team a week or 5/6 days prior to the release of final episode.

That's unlikely, if there would have been a cameo, the production team must have told media outlets before to attract more viewers, like in Hotel Del Luna

Ha ha! HE WILL WIN AT BAEKSANG; most prestigious award ceremony of S Korea. And I think in AAA there was no category for supporting actor. But he is nominated for APAN. If I will get an opportunity I will give him all the awards.
