I thought of western stuff while writing that comment too but I disagree on unnecessary. If you are a good writer you know how to not make that happen. And those extra 10, 15 minutes could be spent on the individual characters so maybe we know what else they like to do. Or maybe some friend group scenes because so far those friends are useless to the story. Or maybe for the side couple because so far they are a nothing burger
One thing I'll never understand why GMMTVs stuff is always 45/50 min but stuff from other companies that airs either on the same streaming platform or tv channel is longer. like i get there is set tv runtime but this is why you put uncut on streaming platforms!!! but ALL of their stuff tv or streaming is 45/50 min . He didn't tell him to be a 5-6 timer and in broad daylight! Jett is stupid!! That clearly runs in the family (in different ways) That's like paying someone to give your child a cheat sheet for an exam and then being mad at them because your child got an F. how is it JPs fault??!! sure he had the right to be mad at his bf for interfering in the first place but this is crazy!!! and why the hell did JP suggest he takes the shop? I'm starting to think this mans is autistic and doesn't understand social cues.... i thought he was going to suggest Jett quits school and slaves away at his company. that's cruel but in JP way cruel. this is just strange. that makes the parents suffer too. for what? i mean this is the same mf who didn't want to grant Jetts wish in the first place because he is his bfs brother.
