personally i don't think the kiss is rushed. I have read the prequel manhwa ( where we see something we dont get in the drama yet ), and woong is quite the observant type, he watch yeonsoo from afar since the first day they met, thats how he has understanding of yeonsoo's personality, notice every little thing about her, and finally become her boy/friend with his way of action.
then in last and this week ep, we get to see him watching yeonsoo sleeping, going to her home without notice, asking her out for a meal, etc. because deep down he knows her hearts the most, that yeonsoo is also having hard time. but his way of talking is more action and he doesn't filter his words, if he does he will get too emotional like ep 6 π *want to sleep over? instead of "i want to be w you"* *grabbing hands* *kissed her* *URI IGEO MAJA? then cried*

If you notice, Woong's parent restaurant always has banner and it changes every period of time. In episode 7 when Yeonsoo was asked out for a meal, the banner is saying "μ μ΄ κ΅¬μ΄ λ¬΄μΉ¨" aka "Grilled Mackerel". You know what? It is also referenced to korean phrase "μ§λκ° λ©°λ리λ λμμ€λ μ μ΄" meaning "Even mackerel makes the daughter-in-law who left the house comes back" π«π» The phrase comes from story about mother in law and daughter in law, we see that they imply it on Yeonsoo & Woong's mother heartwarming interaction.
