i tried watching this but it is too fluffy-shoujoish for me 😭 i would enjoy it better if i were younger, when i was still a hopeless romantic. now the world is too harsh for me to imagine that kind of romance.

people here were talking so much about the arranged marriage between the leads so i thought it would be romance focused drama, but i just read several pages of the novel today and it is more leaning to mystery and fantasy.
beside the marriage talk, i hope people talk more about the world setting because it is so interesting and the supernatural part is the plot that push the drama which keeps the story and the romance going. the city curfew and how the humans and demons switch their times to dominance the pedestrian street, i don't understand how because i read machine translated-novel, but it seems the fl can also transform into a cat and sneak around the town to solve a mystery ( and ofc to have fun and play around XD). there is a hint of sismance with liu tai zhen, hu zhu and fl, im looking forward to see them as working partner 👌🏽
for the leads... i trust them, i love both of them as actor and actress and i know they will have amazing chemistry no doubt 😂 their characters interaction is well paced too in the novel ( this is my first time reading chinese novel, so idk if they will change it or not once getting adapted ).. anw i cant wait to see this drama
