my thoughts so far
i love how this series highlights the older generation's vile ways to hold onto power. The numerous sabotage attempts at the exam made me realize how similar that is to the present day. Higher barriers block entry to post-grad opportunities for Gen Z as the years go by to provide job security or less expense to the current job force filled with Gen X, millennials, or leftover boomers.
I feel like this season had a humanistic rawness of life as you settle into a new job/internship, city, or experience; finally noticing how backward everything is while everyone goes along with it since the corruption runs so deep or is too costly to fix. Kinda like the Truman Show.
Great job writers! Please expand on this in Season 3.
