8.7? Really? Zero effort in character building. She managed to disguise as a man for years but got revealed from just a lean on the back? Huh? Like everyone now knows she's a female but nobody knew then... I dropped it after 20 episodes searching for the points where this high rating happened and found none. Then, bumped into Everlasting Longing. Angelababy did a better job looking like a man and over there, she has a family to back up her disguise, so, at least it make sense there...finished that drama and came back here to see if the rating is justified or not. Nah, a whole bunch of low rating reviews but this drama is still a 8.7...something is not right... Kbye.
I came upon comments about how funny this drama is, from several platforms... IMO, ML is not the cut for comedy, so I placed hope in FL ..I'm now at ep 6 but there is no sign of comedy at all...I'm giving up on it..
I'm surprise there are so many positive comment... I grew up watching MG Taiwanese version. It was a GIANT...the mother of all idol drama! This drama really fail me...I condemned in my heart so many times. There's really no spark at all throughout the entire drama. Sanchai in this version is so boring...shen yue did so well in her previous drama but not this.. I reckon it's the editor or the director's problem. The whole drama is so choppy. After this drama, I wanna conclude that Jerry Yan was really good and he deserves all his fame now! Anyway...this version of Lei is so handsome and lovely...unlike Zai Zai. Although ZZ got to fame through his cast as Lei...I'd never like him. Lei in this drama is so sweetttt...I look forward for him to become famous!
Lu Yang’s role is a total mess up. Bad acting and chemistry so obviously faking out. Poor story line on the leads. The only thing that kept me watching is Qing Tian and mom. Even Jia Ni is better.
