someone on another drama recommended this one to watch and I am on epi. 2 and I am giving it a 10/10. The intrigue and vibe is great and the ML is making the right move and I love it 🥰 too!!!

episode 5 - The FL is gorgeously dressed up in a beautiful costume I am in love with the outfit, it is not one of the fancy costumes but she is flossing it and I love 💕💗💓🦋🦋🦋it !!!!!

The subtitles are such a mess both of the English and Chinese languages are showing up on top of each other in the IQIYI network…… I really hate this network for the low quality of content ex. subtitles, subscription service and the quality of the APP.

I am not disagreeing with you on this point but I can say this. I understand why most of the comments are talking about her traveling overseas, as if it is the answer to all of her problems and concerns, and in fact it’s probably will not change much . Once they get together, now The problem is she still doesn’t have confidence in herself and doubts about the “what if “ aspect, it’s really hard for me to believe she is really in love and wants a relationship now and all she can say and do is go OVERSEAS. Instead of focusing on what she wants to do and achieve while enjoying herself and being happy with someone spending quality time together all she comes up with is to focus on leaving to overseas, sounds ridiculous. She has a wonderful family life and career, she is starting a new relationship and has a great partner who she needs to spend time with together and use the time to developing their relationship with someone that she can move forward with in her life. I am like most commenters who see the FL with weaknesses and there’s nothing wrong with having weaknesses. We all do, however it is how you work on improving yourself and approaching life step by step to see yourself facing life challenges and having that special person in your life and corner to support you. When she returns back from overseas she is still the same person before she left and when she returns from overseas. We can arguing to the cows come home but how the FL decision to travel is probably good/bad or indifferent but we all have different ways of living life. I always say this. Let’s agree to disagree. cuz we all know, what we know and what we don’t know. 😉

I just thought of something! I don’t recall when ML fell in love with the FL and when she also felt the same way for him. Can someone please spoil me with this information and tell me the defining moments of them liking each other and if you can give me which episode it would be, because I was racking my brain and I don’t know.

I’m only chiming in because I know that you guys have a POV as we ALL do. Most of what you guys said is very true about POJ. I watched it on the day it was released one episode a Day, drove us all crazy but it was a great time . We all knew it was going to be a big hit just because of all the things you guys mentioned above. I have myself being watching K/C/J/T dramas since 2009, a lot has changed and not so much has changed. The one fact that I want to add to this thread is that everyone has different preferences when it comes to entertainment. I never forget when I first started watching Asian dramas. I didn’t have a favorite genre , I wasn’t following certain actors, I never rated or commented about them. I fooled around not knowing what I was watching and watched a Japanese drama called Caterpillar, to this day I never watched another Jdrama, totally traumatized me, and if that wasn’t enough I later watched a(I don’t know if it is a Korean drama)another one called “OLD BOY “ lord knows from then on I started having preferences in the dramas I wanted to watch. My main genre is romance and I only watch certain lead actors and follow them. So I said all that to say this. POJ Is a great Historical drama and I love it but my all time favorite is The Rebel Princess. See we can all agree and disagree. like something and dislike something and not like someone and instead like them. If you insist on liking something you have to stick with and not find was wrong with because at the end of it all, everything and everyone has flaws…. I do agree with your comments though 😁😜😉🤗I came here because I am on my ____time rewatching POJ and ran across the comments, lol 😂

SFL should be in jail for ALL THE CRIMES SHE HAS COMMITTED……. and the FL is stupid for trusting everyone in the industry and this would be a good drama of the main leads has some backbone a few nonsense trope here and there isn’t so bad but everything and the kitchen sink is thrown in this drama making it look BAD.

hey I have a question about the Chinese government. Is the government still requesting that kids or other family members pay their parents/family members debt at this time and age? I know that they did it generations ago but how about now.

@joetoca, I was looking for a comment like this, I need to be spoiled and get through this drama with all the boring high school trope and adults being school kids, ugh 😑 too much but I do appreciate slow burn but this one is not tugging at the heartstrings for me 😆 I am on episode three and my eyes are more glued to MDL/comment section so for and I haven’t even been paying attention to the drama 🎭 so I need to know what episode to skip and get the gist of this show lol

fans for life/ffl- yep Xianxia not bad but I prefer wuxia over the others and my all time favorite is romance 🥰 hands down but I love following certain actors is how I determine what I watch.
