I am so glad I ran across your comment. it is exactly how I feel like something is missing. I started episode one through 16 then I dropped. I picked it up back up at episode 17 and the same things are still being talked about and going over. It is like something is absolutely missing here. it is good the actors, both the male and female, the cinematography the plot is OK but it’s not coming together. It’s not drawing into my heart. That’s why I like your comment because I go along with the same mindset and I did put a heart by your comment because the ratings are high. Yes it does deserve a high rating higher. It is it is missing something truly missing something.

I have those too comfort dramas that I have watched more than 20 times 😂

like someone commented, not the MAlD in love with the Prince, as the saying goes, climbing a tall tree, showing no gratitude to the Princess who cleaned her ragged behind up, so ungrateful 😤🤬😡

The pitfall FL her goofiness not cute at all and brings down the character she is clueless to the ML JOB, accomplishments, future goals and entire wardrobe horrible all the time and her constant push and pull in the relationship kills the romance to the show 📺 the workplace she display emotions of a high school when she is being bullied by both management and coworker then the boyfriend has to lead the entire relationship she acts totally surprised about it as if they just hooked up for the first time she spoils every scene

@Cheyenne, came across your comment on the Business/lT scenes feel the exact same way, it is what made me not watch this drama for a long time ago but now I am starting from the beginning and hope that I can get passed those and not skip scenes 😁😆😊😍 cuz I love the FL/ML

@Sunnylhasl, me too!! Most have dropped this drama multiple times, then skipped to the last few episodes, and I still haven't been knocked off my feet.

Finally watched this drama to the end. It was more like pulling teeth for me to finish it. I am not sorry for delaying. The last two episodes seems like a different show with the actual bad guys have not been revealed at all and the editing is off.

PJ Phanl YOU said FL acting us not good then contradicted yourself and said her acting it is good her expressions are the same all of her dramas, then that means everyone is right about her acting should be different all of the time because she has a different characters to portray. just wanted to clear the matter

……but is a S2 even worth it? I saw someone’s comment that S1 had a lot of fluff in it and could have stretched it to 40 episodes and not have a 2nd season 👀 I sort of agree. S1 had too many tropes and bad ones at that and lots of boring scenes. I might skip the S2 just because 😏 I don’t want to see the new villains and corrupt characters again and very Little family life, they show the beautiful flowers but too much ugliness of every day struggles.

WOW!!! this has all my favorite lead actors and I neglected watching it because I wasn’t feeling it in the beginning. I have come to kneel and ask for forgiveness 🙇🏽‍♂️🙇‍♀️🙇 very wonderfully acting and amusing script love it 🥰🥰😘💯

can she get back to Yannan……..the esthetics of the country side and there manners are wild uncultured and who stays away from there family risking limbs and head, the writers have established nothing but the shear brute of violence so please, need them to get back to progress and sound relationships abt to 3x the episodes cause nothings going on 😂😂😂

@Cya615, I figured he was a double agent and very much in love with the Consort and was doing all the setup but my complaint is the FL hostage? not so much…. instead very shortsighted and arrogant….. own family is in danger and she been gone on this odessey journey to become famous and all the spoiled princesses are annoying and boring 🥱

Me too, glad I came across this comment about the mother was so over the top and the FL lacked the personality needed to make this drama a good feel warm and cozy for the love they have for each other in a nutshell did not feel the chemistry of lovers very boring to

I have major issue and dislike about the FL and that is her overly aggressive speaking to the Emperor and causing him to be upset and go after the Shen family and punish her family again part of what she done us self gratification and self righteousness and totally unnecessary she should have practice being HUMBLE!!

me too! love her and she is very pretty too I think she has a natural beauty and no cosmetics either but I think she is a super actress. I too watch everything she has done 🥰😍😘🙏🏾

So I am on my third rewatch of this drama. I gotta question. Are they funeral directors or just the coroners? Because they show up to the scene of accidents and pick up bodies. This is a weird and strange thing to do. It’s usually done by the police if an accident happens and then handed over to the coroners.

I’m Like everyone else about this drama the way the FL was written is the absolute problem. The writers couldn’t decide if she was a woman in a a male dominated society or be the woman who loves family and husband trust them enough to show compassion. And she wasn’t interesting enough to keep focusing on work having her solve mystery failed badly. She was the most problematic character in the drama so I kept fast forward . I do like the drama but 40 episodes of the FL and her tantrums and always putting works before her and the family safety was crazy.

I feel you on this drama and I have went back and forth watching it and I still skip episodes not engaging and looking forward to the next episode. I like the FL/ML , plot but some reason I don’t get the feel good in love with this drama 🥰😍❤️😜😂

I am not impressed at all by the drama. I dropped it once after watching the beginning episode and picked up watching again and now more than ever it is boring. The writers have two great actors but what is the long pointless dialogue and awkward dialogue between them. we get it already stop torturing us with dragging on and on,by now they should have been together and we would not be so bored watching them acting like puppy dogs eyes all the time.
