So I read the plot, and I immediately said 'nope'. I love everything sporty in general, but not in my dramas thank…
i hope you'll enjoy this :) it's not really too much about the sports itself but the management behind the scenes. though, i enjoyed learning more about baseball :)
they make it that way because it's 53 episodes this is pretty standard for weekend dramas the pace is really slow
generally weekend dramas have 50+ episodes. There's not a lot of them since it has that much episodes. Also, they normally have cheaper production budgets. If you're used to the 16-20 ep dramas, you should not expect the same with weekend dramas though there are a few that deliver great episodes more than others. I personally like Homemade Love Story, Beautiful Life Wonderful Love and My Father is Strange. Ive noticed all of them have a great first few episodes but there will be episodes that are poorly written. Idk how to explain it but weekend dramas aim to provide a complete conflict-to-resolution each episode but also have moments for each age group to relate to and also be able to entertain those who havent watched it from the start. They usually rely more on shock factor and comedy compared to other dramas. It's like a hybrid of a sitcom and a drama lol.
if someone can explain why, id be grateful
