Yeah true, it seems like the story can be watched without watching previous season or as a stand alone drama. The probability of continuation from lost tomb 2 should be high considering the popularity of the lost tomb.

If there is really continuation from the lost tomb 2, i would be very happy if hou ming hao as wu xie, since his wu xie is very lovable. But chinese drama always uses new actor for another seasons so the probability for hou ming hao continue as wu xie is very small. But hou ming hao and zhang bo yu really are great duo or have great bromance. It is fun watching their interaction.

To rival tencent's popularity (i don't know much about chinese drama news and also zhu yi long acting as mature wu xie and another title beside the lost tomb 3 is the lost tomb reboot that means it is adventure when zhang qi lin already out from ten years guarding something and wu xie also already retired (because he is tired and feels already old enough to do things like this but suddenly his uncle send messages to him that makes three of them begin their new journey together, something like that??? So this is not continuation from the lost tomb 2. Or am i wrong???

I ever read the comment about a fan that read the books that love the bromance between xiao hua and wu xie instead of xiao ge and wu xie, but from the drama, i don't really feel the bromance between xiao hua and wu xie though, or maybe the bromance between them would be seen when there are more continuation from the lost tomb 2?

Is there even an insecure between wu xie and xiao ge in the lost tomb2??? The way they meet and smile at each other is like wow they are the closest friend or family (bromance) and also when zhang qi lin rescue wu xie, he is very gentle toward wu xie (like wu xie some kind of noble king, noble prince or delicate young master hahaha) but about pang zi he just push him from the cliff so they can go down faster (there are water below but still, it scared wang pang zi to scream until he is floating on the water or small river????

True, i also think so, the bromance between zhang bo yu and hou ming hou is the best than the lost tomb 1 for wu xie and wang pang zi's role. I think zhang bo yu is the most suitable to be wang pang zi (but still don't know about wang pang zi's actor in tomb of the sea (haven't watch it yet)). Zhang qi lin and wu xie in the lost tomb2 always smile when they meet each other. The bromance really spark from their eyes. Hahha

Season 3 is the continuation from tomb of the sea and not from the lost tomb 2. So what we see in drama actually the adaptation from when wu xie is young has not finished adaptated from books yet. It will be finished when zhang qi lin guard some tomb gates in place of wu xie???. I really want to hear a news about continuation adapation about young wu xie. Hope tencent produce it faster while the lost tomb season 3 seems like produced by another company so that is maybe why the content of lost tomb 3 is not the continuation from lost tomb 2

The theme about the novel is weird, even the ministry that put some important things about forbidden novel, i thinks it is really weird theme if we are talking about that time era where nobles and the royal family busy fighting about power in the court. so where would they find time to read this kind of novel instead of busy making their influence everywhere and to increase their power and wealth. Really weird.....

I only watch the raw for episode 36, so i just somehow understand from the scene but i think the only one that transported there without knowing anything is wu xie, while the others all have their motive like pang zi and a ning goes went there because of wu xie,and zhang qi lin already there for three months faster then them, moreover it seems like he got amnesia by forgetting wu xie. Would watch it again to undestand it better when the subs is out.

But whatever it will be, i would watch if there is someone subbed it and also based of many review or comment when the drama aired, thank you @Tricia pan for the info about this is not harem. And actually i like him more than the other two tfboys because of his cute face and angelic smile, but his teammates seems to be shining more as more drama they acted while Roy seperated from his teammates still only has this one drama, hope he will choose many potential good drama that makes him shine a little more. Like i said i need sub so i am just one of fans from international, and fans like me usually more interested in drama and know chinese idol or actor by their drama first. Well maybe there are others that like the idol first then drama.
