I would say both in a way. Something sad that had happened before and we already know about, gets wrapped up in the ending. It's cathartic and beautiful, but heartwrenching imo
I love the drama so much and I don't think HD and YJ not ending up together can change that, but I'm the kind of person who loves to romanticize the past and remember everything, so this is so difficult for me to watch.
Any media that portrays how fleeting youth is and how the emotions you feel when you are young won't be there forever, is a stab in the heart for me and just reminds me of how everything and everyone will one day leave... ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ðŸ˜
I know that a lot of us are worried about a "sad ending" or them not being endgame but remember love doesn't have to last forever to be beautiful and worth it!!
