I find it ironic cus the ML character’s main conflict so far is not getting romance roles due to his age so casting a younger actor or an actor who looked like a typical ML wouldn’t make sense in this drama. LJJ is perfect for the role and I’m loving this drama so far…

Okay, I know the reason is plot driven but what do you mean they are opening packages of FOOD in the middle of the street to remove the cards (and making it obvious it has been handled) instead of… just sending an apology to the clients as everything was OBVIOUSLY made before all the monk scandal…

Well, we can agree to disagree. To me the FL and ML have great chemistry and them being two consenting adults that haven't been groomed into a relationship is the only context that matters.

“I'm almost as old as ML and hate romance where old people meet minors, wait for them to be adults and date them.” This is certainly weird but not the case in this drama, like, if they got together feelings would have come out while they were well into adulthood. Plus, FL is 30 or 29 as he date if birth is shown in the series. About looking young, I’m 31 myself and I look youthful (people always ask for my ID in the market) and as I’m autistic people say I’m a bit childish (I disagree) and as an adult I would find weird if someone judged a relationship of mine due to me “appearing” young. (I hate the relationship in goblin, that one is for certain problematic)

EDIT: I think the big issue here is that you consider FL to be childish as you said she acts like a minor. I don’t, I see her as she is: an (probably neurodivergent) adult. I identify a lot with the way FL acts and to me she is not acting like a minor or childish so I can see her as the 30yo she is, while you probably see her and see a minor.

Does it end up having romance? I know there’s no tags and this type of drama usually doesn’t but I’m on episode 6 and I never shipped a straight couple so hard like I’m shipping the main characters

So far it reminds me of Taxi Driver, which honestly wasn’t my favourite, however part of what bothered me in TD was the acting which is not a problem in this one, so I’ll probably stick around for 1-2 more episodes before deciding if I’m watching or dropping… it didn’t grab my attention yet tho.

I think it may be cause of his parents. In the preview we also see his parents finding about their relationship so Ji Eun must feel bad for basically her boyfriend needing to assume a queer relashionship and come out while still being straight

I dont know how I could send you a screenshot, but if you open the first episode of the series and watch the drama intro you’ll see what I’m talking about, it appears right before the intro (not after, I was remembering wrong) like an episode title but it’s only in certain episodes like an arc of the story (I assuming when the case they are investigating changes as it has been from what I’ve seen so far). I don’t know what it covers on the novel as I’ve never read the novel.

No, I dont know how to explain it better, I’m only going off the series, in certain episodes after the drama title appears instead of going direct into the series it appears “chapter TITLE” the title is in a red font in english looking like a heartbeat monitor. That’s all I know and that only happen in certain episodes, I want to know what episodes are those.

No, episode 10 is chapter 4 I believe (there’s no number, just the title)

I havent read the novel, I’m talking about the series, each case is a chapter as in, there’s a chapter title on the intro, I’m on episode 10 now (chapter sociopathy)

For a second there when reality was warping before they entered another dimension I thought sunglass girl would turn out to be the teacher from another timeline and I guess I would have preferred if it was so…

I feel this is very conceptual and till ep 5 it was a 10/10 for me (gorgeous cinematography and visual storytelling, acting on point, engaging episodes) the 6th episode is a whole other story, I am someone who usually loves a nonsense story that is all concept and metaphors but I find the sci-fi part a bit lacking, almost lazy writing, and while I liked the very ending it could have been different imo, it turned something somewhat new into a cliché, which has it’s place when you know it’s good and works but for this one it didn’t work, almost like they were trying to be unique and fell in the trap of using bad cliché instead of good one (if it were camp and absurd I would have liked it more but they left it in that mid “this is conceptual but still normal enough” way that almost hits somewhat like an uncanny valley). That being said, I still gave it a 9.5.

Can someone tell me which episode each chapter starts?
(Just so I can pause between chapters in my binging instead of stopping for the night and the chapter ends with the next episode) - I’m in chapter 2 paranoia (episode 9 currently)
