Jihun asking to break-up with Yunjae doesn't make sense to me. She clearly loves him. And it's obvious that he…
I think it may be cause of his parents. In the preview we also see his parents finding about their relationship so Ji Eun must feel bad for basically her boyfriend needing to assume a queer relashionship and come out while still being straight
Where did you read the novel? I heard in the novel they are a couple. Although series ending is a happy ending…
I dont know how I could send you a screenshot, but if you open the first episode of the series and watch the drama intro you’ll see what I’m talking about, it appears right before the intro (not after, I was remembering wrong) like an episode title but it’s only in certain episodes like an arc of the story (I assuming when the case they are investigating changes as it has been from what I’ve seen so far). I don’t know what it covers on the novel as I’ve never read the novel.

No, I dont know how to explain it better, I’m only going off the series, in certain episodes after the drama title appears instead of going direct into the series it appears “chapter TITLE” the title is in a red font in english looking like a heartbeat monitor. That’s all I know and that only happen in certain episodes, I want to know what episodes are those.

I havent read the novel, I’m talking about the series, each case is a chapter as in, there’s a chapter title on the intro, I’m on episode 10 now (chapter sociopathy)

For a second there when reality was warping before they entered another dimension I thought sunglass girl would turn out to be the teacher from another timeline and I guess I would have preferred if it was so…
I feel this is very conceptual and till ep 5 it was a 10/10 for me (gorgeous cinematography and visual storytelling, acting on point, engaging episodes) the 6th episode is a whole other story, I am someone who usually loves a nonsense story that is all concept and metaphors but I find the sci-fi part a bit lacking, almost lazy writing, and while I liked the very ending it could have been different imo, it turned something somewhat new into a cliché, which has it’s place when you know it’s good and works but for this one it didn’t work, almost like they were trying to be unique and fell in the trap of using bad cliché instead of good one (if it were camp and absurd I would have liked it more but they left it in that mid “this is conceptual but still normal enough” way that almost hits somewhat like an uncanny valley). That being said, I still gave it a 9.5.
Can someone tell me which episode each chapter starts? (Just so I can pause between chapters in my binging instead of stopping for the night and the chapter ends with the next episode) - I’m in chapter 2 paranoia (episode 9 currently)
It's a really interesting concept but I'm worried how they might handle the inevitable queer implications... can…
I was afraid of the same but as a queer person I find it very respectful so far (like, the main guy is going through it but it’s not in a homophobic nor transphobic way, just a “I’m not atracted to men and my girlfriend is in a man’s body so even though I rationally know she is my girlfriend and I love her I don’t feel attracted right now” way)
all chinese BL dramas are censored adaptations of the original work. doesn't make them a romance any less. calling…
I haven’t seen this specific drama yet but usually is a no to the kissing and holding hands (as it’s blocked by censorship and could result not only in unairing the series but also legal persecution), yes to hugging, protecting each other, calling each other soulmates, being understood as a couple by the other characters, doing stuff that is culturally done by couples only, etc. The censorship is not a joke and a censored BL is not that way by choice and it’s a piece of queer resistance, as opposed to a bromance that either is not planned to be seen as queer or is pure queerbaiting, and so revoking the status of BL from those works and putting in the same box as bromance just because the characters couldn’t kiss on screen from fear of gonverment repression is plainly shallow.
EDIT: One point I like to add is that usually in censored BLs when there’s a straight couple they act the same as the gay couple, so if there are no kissing and holding hands by the main characters, there’s also no kissing and holding hands by straight couples in the series
Does anyone know what time Viki will release episode 9? Viki used to release kdrama episodes within 2 hours of…
I think they’re only releasing now with the full subs (which is annoying cus usually I can watch no problem with 97% of subs on but now we have to wait till 99%) and it depends on the drama. This one is coming out 4h later for me, but Undercover High School for example is taking 16h so I usually watch only the next day, very annoying
I’m really liking this so far! The ages didnt bother me as I’m bad at math and thought only ten years passed and they are in their 20s instead of 30s and only realised they should be in their 30s reading the comment section and going forward I’ll just pretend it was 10 years instead of 16. That being said, the only thing that bothered me was the ppl in the street rooting for him when he confessed as if he wasnt a literal child…
Ok, so… While this dram is so far really makes us think how we treat senior citizens, it’s really annoying how the characters are doing making a conflict out of a non issue. Idk if it’s my over 15years of ballet on a big city with adult and senior classes and therefore seeing a lot of senior 80+ citizens in dancing spaces but this whole A 70 YEAR OLD DOING BALLET, THE HORROR 😱😱😱 thing really pissing me of, like, it’s not a big deal??? 70 is not that old in the first place and actually pretty common? So, my thing is, does this get better? Cus I’m just annoyed above any heartwarming feeling I should be feeling at this point, idk.
