Ok, so… While this dram is so far really makes us think how we treat senior citizens, it’s really annoying how the characters are doing making a conflict out of a non issue. Idk if it’s my over 15years of ballet on a big city with adult and senior classes and therefore seeing a lot of senior 80+ citizens in dancing spaces but this whole A 70 YEAR OLD DOING BALLET, THE HORROR 😱😱😱 thing really pissing me of, like, it’s not a big deal??? 70 is not that old in the first place and actually pretty common? So, my thing is, does this get better? Cus I’m just annoyed above any heartwarming feeling I should be feeling at this point, idk.

I really hope this theory is true cus my mind instantly went to he told he is her uncle and that would ruin the drama for me

I dont want to believe this theory cus it will ruin this drama for me (as a 10/10 so far) but I believe he was told Hee Joo is his niece. The kidnapper call her sis and the father looked really cozy with Hee Joo’s mother on an early episode… I dont want to be real though, I draw a hard line at incest

I like the thory of the grandpa drowning the kids and the fisherman finding them cus it would explain why ML was with the fisherman (looked like he was recovering from injury) and the nightmare he had about drawing, but also could explain how real BSE survived since the fisherman tried rescuing the children and how he knows real BSE survived. I think our ML is one of the twins and Park Do Je is the other. I’m on the fence if he knows our ML is fake BSE or not. I also believe the doctor sunbae is a witness (he drew the grandfather’s ring) and believes our ML is real BSE and therefore the killer. I believe kidnapper is real BSE and the master behind kidnapper is mom.

I thought so too, I only got it properly when she flashbacked to it

The same way no one got seriously hurt in the explosion

My wife dont watch the drama and the moment HJ opens the phone on the last scene she was passing by and exclaimed “oh, nice phone!”

Dont forget the mustard pang jelly he gave her when she brought him into the stairs (maybe more self preservation, this one, but still an act of service) 😩💜

ABOUT THE ENDING

Idk if anyone else ever noticed this, but after watching this for the 5th time I realised that when the two theories about Porsche’s mom are presented (Korn’s and Gun’s) Porsche memories shown a couple eps earlier actually supports Gun’s version, which makes the whole Korn talking to the chess thing a lot more of sense… Just putting this out here as I actually think the end is not really open but kind of genius as the answer is in the details which makes this series really great to rewatch and I never saw anyone talking about this…

It honestly pisses me off, I live in a country where we had a 20+ years censored dictatorship and we literally learn in schools how to interpret censored art and how art made during censorship is resistance, so calling this series a bromance is like throwing away all the efforts the crew did to put it out there for us, like a slap in the face.
