It’s stalking in that scenario because you felt uncomfortable. That’s the criteria. But, what if it is someone whom you are attracted to as well? Is it stalking then?

So, if a man pursues you because he is interested, is that stalking?

It’s really good. Love 💕 it! Ep 1 one just establishes the setting and characters. Ep 2 is when things really get going. I’m getting butterflies already. The leads and supporting cast are fantastic.

I think there is a distinction that needs to be made between pursuing someone for a romantic relationship vs stalking with malicious intent. There’s a difference. If a man ardently and honorably, pursues a woman who he is interested in (or vice versa), that’s not stalking. Now, if the person says to STOP pursuing me, “I’m uncomfortable with your attention,” yet, the person continues, then it becomes stalking and harassment. Given I-An and Huiju’s history, he knows her persistent personality. This seems more persistence rather than maniacal stalking. Also, he didn’t explicitly say “Stop!” Why? Because he’s interested. He wants to see the depths and lengths she’ll go through to woo him. Ultimately, though, he wants her love. He’s annoyed because he doesn’t perceive her actions as coming from true love. He’s not annoyed by the “stalking” itself.

That suitor, with whom Huiju went on the blind date, seemed like a nice guy. The way she heartlessly dashed his hopes. I felt for him in that moment. Rude, but at least, she didn’t waste his time.

Help me analyze this. Why did he reject her meeting requests so many times before finally accepting? I think we collectively agree that he’s had a crush since high school. So, why not jump on an opportunity to meet with her now? Instead, he seemed exasperated and annoyed that she wanted to meet with him. He didn’t take her seriously. What was that about?
