Even though she’s helpless, she causes so much unnecessary pain to others. The FL is also helpless, but she doesn’t deliberately hurt anyone. I don’t sympathize with the wife at all.

She takes her woe-is-me mentality and uses it to inflict harm on others. FL has also edured unimaginable pain, but hasn’t turned evil as a result. The wife’s evil responses to her undesirable life is a choice. I don’t sympathize with her at all.
