Title Two Fathers Spoiler
lol I can't believe I finished all episodes in less than a week. I guess that gives an indication on how much I loved it. I am disappointed by the end though, Miss Wu and Zhen Hua should have ended up together. The opening and endings are really misleading. :( I'll keep on believing he did like her after all. I would have liked to see a short epilogue for all characters, like what about the little brother? Or the married couple? They all deserved a bit more conclusive screen time imo.. nonetheless, love, love, love!

At first I had high hopes but it turned out to be a pain to watch so I dropped it. :/ The plot was all over the place. Plus, the eye candy was not enough to make up for the poor script and clishees. Wouldn't recommend it.

I totally agree with you, that's also why I love this drama. :) Would it be okay to ask you to mark this as spoiler though? While the two main relationships are quite obvious still this post contains some info that I, and probably others too, want keep the suspense about until we reach that part ourselves? Thank you!! :)

I'm only at ep 21 but I really, really love this show. This is such a great drama, touching on so many different issues. :) Can only recommend it to whoever is still doubting whether they should watch it or not. ;) You won't regret it, if only for the cuteness of the girl. Also with many different characters there will be some you'll grow to like and that'll keep you watching for sure. That way even though every ep is ca. 50 min it really doesn't seem that long. :)

I agree that sometimes the chemistry between actors can be way off due to age difference. However, it is really not uncommon for normal, real-life couples to be 2 or 3 or even 6 or 7 years apart. I find it sad that age difference is such a stigma in dramas, when there is so much potential for humor and character development in it. IMO a relationship between a 18 and a 28 year old is also different from i.e. a 32 and a 42 year old. I think life experience and maturity makes a big difference and can even out age differences quite well in many cases. Personally, I never inform myself about the actors too much if I can help it. If they can portray the age of their role accordingly, I really don't care how old they are in real life. :) (Unless they're a child actor with a much older drama-love interest...)

After seeing this entry I read the available English chapters of the manga in one go... and now I can't wait for this movie to come out! *-* Though I hope they won't try to squeeze in too many of the secondary characters and drama...

I don't think I've ever seen so many kisses in a Japanese drama. xD Honestly glad to see that they're becoming less constipated and overly dramatic about kissing. Of course the plot is far from realistic and the acting is sometimes sloppy, the show still warmed my heart and made me smile a lot. :) I'm happy with the (admittedly very predictable) ending. I liked the scene where Yamada took Urara's hand, their relationship has a very natural feel to it at the end.

I really tried watching this but it was horrible. The camera work, the characters, the scrip, simply everything. It's not even a series that is bad in a humorous and funny way. No, this is just simply bad. :(

Against my fears this didn't turn out as a Gokusen rip-off (and seeing Takai Yuya playing not the leader like in Gokusen but a guy who avoids fights is simply hilarious! :D). The fighting and the end scene actually reminded me of crows zero at some points with somewhat similar underlying values.

I found Fumie annoying sometimes, but I liked that she stuck to her own values. As some other people pointed out, most of the girls came across as quite shallow with not a lot of character depth. More, or longer, episodes would have been great to add character depth and show more interactions between the supporting roles, as well and to balance the sometimes awkward acting and plot holes. Nonetheless, I was positively surprised by this and really enjoyed it. I ended up watching it in one go. ^^''

This suprised me positively. While no really exceptional story and a few clichees, (and horrible clothes...) it was sweet and I like the main couples. I liked that there were hug & kis scenes much better than all the touching issues in i.e. japanese dramas... Better than expected. :)
