religion definitely influenxes culture but they are two distinct concepts, culture is bound by region and religion isn't. which is why this teaser will defo offend indians and/of persians and arabs but it won't necessarily offend indonesians or european muslims for example, because even though they share the same religion, they don't share culture. also even though it is not my place to speak about whether it is desrespectful or not (as this is not my culture being portrayed/mocked), I can say that hindus and other indian people can be equally as offended because even though they don't share one religion., they share one culture. hope that was clear as english isn't my 1st language

I am no south asian nor am I middle eastern nor are you, so it is really not your place to say whether that was desrespectful or not, if someone from that culture being mocked/portrayed says it is desrespectful then IT IS, you have no right to say it is not the same way I who isn't from SA/ME don't have the right. also S koreans are known to be ignorant when it comes to other cultures and they don't hesitate to degrade them or show them in a bad light ,I am pretty sure that they knew how people will react yet they chose to do it anyways that's what makes that apology pathetic, can't they find someone from these cultures (they were trying to merge) and ask what's right or wrong? they can yet they chose not to because they don't give a damn.
