Overreact much? "Now the only idea koreans will have of a muslim man is someone who goes to bar and drinks with…
Islam shouldn't be forced, so if the children chose another religion their dad CAN'T force them as there's no point, if they don't believe then them being muslim doesn't mean anything ,also muslim men are only allowed to marry jewish or christian women (who are practicing), hope this helps
this is not a problem of South Korea . Arab people here expect another country to show a bright and perfect face…
I disagree with you, I live amongst Arabs and they are pretty generous people ,most of them don't drink and don't even go to bars, and no they also try to show a better face for themselves, well if you visit an Arab country you'd see how hospitable and generous they are ,also you started by mentioning Arabs but then mentioned Muslims? Not all Arabs are muslims also there's nothing wrong with wanting a better representation of your culture ,I would want my culture to be represented in a good way too, not saying the drama is at fault but still
I haven't watched the drama but I've seen some comments saying that his character is sweet so it's fine I think? Well if they meant to generalize and show their culture in a wrong way is to be blamed for sure but if it was just a mistake that's coming from ignorance then it's fine I guess? However I don't like it when they bring actors from certain countries to play the role of characters from another country (or at least race), it would've been better if they chose an Arab instead, similarly it's better to choose an Indian to play an Indian character. I think I might watch the drama and judge for myself.
I'm surprised to see that many people dislike him, I'm not a part of the bl world nor am I familiar with thai dramas, but I've watched Tharntype and thought he'd be loved ALOT ,I think it's his smile that gave me the impression but idk Now I'm not gonna judge his acting, I'm used to watching thrillers where facial expressions and body language have a weight and are REALLY REALLY important so I can't really judge but how is he irl? Did he ever do something bad?
Never wathed a Chinese thriller before, in fact I've only watched a single Chinese drama and even though I cherish it a lot I wasn't excited enough to watch another cdrama, I only found out about TBK while searching for thrillers similar to beyond evil (til this day it's my fav), I liked the cinematography and I really enjoyed the acting, yet it seems like I've missed somethings I'm not sure if I will read the book, when it comes to thrillers I love to experience it by hearing and seeing , facial expressions and body language play a huge part in thrillers as well, so I'm thinking of rewatching this maybe I will discover more (like I did while rewatching beyond evil with my sister)
