im watching LLTG and also love between fairy and devil too

im liking the new episodes so far \o/ it's pretty interesting. I love the costumes and clothing but the head accessories are kinda wonky.... is it how they are in the novel or that's how they are in Xianxia dramas? or it's because of the budget?

so far the series is pretty good and very interesting but a honest question here: why is this so popular? ep 1 300K+ view on youtube that's amazing numbers. Are the main actors and actress that popular? or perhaps the novel is extremely popular? I haven't really seen any of their past dramas most likely because I don't like modern dramas and prefer historical dramas.
