i thought they executed it pretty well, they had to rush some stuff since they had to cut off 16 episodes after it was already filmed. i also dont think sang jiu and ming ye was their lifetime. it was just an experience that made it seem like they experienced 3 life times together.
also commenting on that ttj is fragile - hes supposed to look fragile. he barely ate as a kid and on top of that he was bullied almost everyday. how can one even possibly look healthy.

he doesnt look as thin and fragile towards the middle of the drama :) pretty sure the production team purposely made him look super thin in the beginning
