The Best Part of My Week? This Show.

I'm absolutely loving this series! I've been a huge fan of ZN since Cutie Pie, and their chemistry is just incredible. Therfore I was really looking forward to this project, especially since I'm a big fan of the prince and royalty trope. I'm so happy to say that it took me by surprise and did not disappoint me at all.

The production quality is outstanding, with super visuals, and great characters. I can't find a single thing to complain about! What I especially love is the twist of blending traditional and modern elements; it makes the story feel fresh.

Chakri is also one of the best characters. And the dynamic between Ran and Nin was so good! They are just so cute together.

What truly left me speechless were the intimate scenes. Both of the NC scenes felt incredibly real, but the final one had me genuinely gasping. It was so explicit. Maybe it's because they're a real-life couple, but the way they filmed it was on a whole other level.

EDIT: after rewatching the series, I genuinely recommend you to watch the UNCUT version. For me, this makes sometimes so much more sense and gives more input. I'm only guessing when I say, but many people might have watched the cut version and have then maybe given the series less points.

Therefore, don't let the negative comments stop you from watching this series. Decide for yourself and hopefully, it will become your comfort series too. ✨️

Hooked from the start

I had been looking for a series with this specific trope for a while, so I dived in without looking up any reviews or spoilers and I fell in love with it.

From the very first episode, I was captivated. The music was so catchy along with the storyline. Needless to say, I've rewatched this series multiple times. I particularly liked how the main characters provided strength and support for each other.

Also, despite the language barrier, the second couple managed to build a successful relationship. I was pleasantly surprised to see a Thai actor in a Taiwanese series, which added an interesting dynamic.

A Rollercoaster of Red Flags & Romance

This series packs a lot of NC scenes—almost one per episode. My biggest issue was. however, P'Sorn's intense possessiveness. His actions were often confusing, and the way he'd force kisses and hugs felt genuinely uncomfortable to watch sometimes. Honestly, I was sometimes scared he'd try to kiss the other character at inappropriate times.

The plot also felt a bit stretched; I think they could've easily told this story in 10 episodes instead of 12.

A positive thought: the end of episode 10 was a definite highlight! P'Sorn seemed to finally respect the boundaries of the other from then on.

Overall, it's a mixed opinion. While there were good moments, the possessiveness made it a tough watch at times.

Made for me

Okay, I'm hooked! The opening scene seriously grabbed my attention, and I was dying to see what happened next. I went in blindly, not knowing what to expect. It had me on the edge of my seat and didn't disappoint me. I have no idea how I missed this series before.

Ye Guang is an absolute sweetheart. He's popular and comes from a privileged family, but he's nothing like the arrogant clichés you usually see. And Qi Zhang? Student but secretly singer? So cool! Every time the OST played, or Qi Zhang started singing, I couldn't help but smile.

It's overflowing with cuteness and fluffy moments, and I found myself smiling constantly throughout. The added angst made it not boring for me at all.
