Well first 3 EPs weren't the best one could say, ep 4 improved by miles though. Hopefully it's fun to watch from here on out

Well how about that, ep 4 was so much better then Eps 1-3. Let's see if it keeps it up next week and then it will have gotten into its groove.

The chemistry improved between the leads and can I say I love shin jae's character as well.

Thing is though, they are clearly trying to go for a romantic angle early on especially from lee gons side without proper development. Without the baseline chemistry (not romantic) just two character meshing well together, romantic development is going to fall flat which is happening here because those in charge haven't done enough to make people care and invest in these characters as individuals. The real issue is the writing and execution. If we take DOTS the chemistry was there from the start even if the show didn't have a solid plot. It was those characters/actors that carried the show and the reason why people tuned in. Idk if it's the writing alone that's not giving go eun and Lee min ho the chance to generate chemistry or the fact they just aren't clicking. Which is where chemistry testing should have been done. People really shouldnt be waiting for characters to click with them or with each other in the middle of the show. It should be there at the start. It's definitely one of the most important things to get right straight away like the commenters have said above me. I'm still going to watch since it's on Netflix and because I'm liking shin jae and the body guard/photographer

I hoping so as well, now that his back in his own world, knows his uncle is alive, things can get going. Also true about shin jae, it feels like his gonna suffer not just in the love angle.

I agree or at least lee gon wasnt so into her already and maybe was more focused on finding his uncle that way their relationship could have developed more naturally. Its not clicking and it's because of how they have developed their dynamic.

Honestly I don't, it's supposed to have a romantic angle or make hearts flutter, but insta romance is pretty boring and lackluster for me personally.

I disagree about the underestimating part of eun talk, who in their right mind is going to believe that someone is from another world and is a king without undeniable proof. Why should she believe what he says. Other then that, I agree with the rest

So far the first eps were ok, could have been stronger and better, I can see why some people are a bit confused. At the moment in not feeling any chemistry in general, not just romantic wise. I feel like it's how the dialogue and characters are written and the execution,the flow isn't there, hopefully that improves in the next episodes. Ep 2 was better but it felt like nothing really happened,just a bit dull. Looking forward to seeing how the show shapes up in ep 3-4.

Honestly, same, especially in ep 2 at the ending when he asked her that question. A lot of focus on them staring from different angles. I think they are trying to make it heart fluttering and romantic but it's not coming across like that. Hopefully they chill on doing that so in you face

Two eps isn't early, I mean take DOTS, chemistry was huge right off the bat. Maybe they will get better chemistry but it really should be taking episodes to get to that point

this drama is really good, the otp have great chemistry, i cant wait until they start falling in love, i also love the 2nd lead guy as well, infact the characters here are quite wonderful, they all have issues their dealing with. junho surprised me, his a really good actor. i like the lead actress as well.

posters definitely catch my attention first but it's the synopsis that decides whether i will watch it or not couple with a trailer just to make sure the synopsis isnt just written weirdly, i also like the hana yori dango posters plus the simple historical ones. the new meteor garden was is quite pretty as well.

wow another adaption of the same story, will it ever die, damn i hope not, this may have a billion other adaptions but that wont stop me getting my popcorn ready for next year to watch this. more hana yori dango the merrier. i hope this adaption will be good, cause my fav is the japanese one and i know meteor garden is also very good as well. hopefully this one will be able to have its own unique charm and standout like its predecessors. also loving who they got for the F4 especially dylan as domyouji/ming si, he totally has that cool vibe. and i like shen yue as well playing makino/shen cai, i hope they have chemistry. anyways 2018 is a long ass wait, so i hope its worth it.

as they have started to go after what they truly want dong mans and ae ra's relationship has begun to change into something more then how they always used be since childhood and they dont know how to act or even realize the way they are behaving isnt normal in a friendship. also i really like the romantic moments despite it not being presented as overly romantic, its more stripped back without all the fanfare, i like it as that allows it to be more raw and create sexual tension

i hope it doesnt affect the plot, i dont think there will have those 2 eps since they are live filming. its not pre produced.

i disagree as well, she was naive and annoying at the start but her story arc is is her evolving from that and becoming a good detective + she is doing a wonderful job from the last 6 eps i've seen. pinning the bad rating on her is just silly considering people found issue with jin sung in eps 3 and 4 rather then eps 1 and 2

true, its been a while since we have gotten a reverse harem type drama, feels very shoujo manga so i say embrace the cliche, cause when done well, its addictive and fun to watch. thnx for the link, it looks really fun and i wasnt expecting to get such a feisty cinderella
