i really don't know if it's me only but i actually like the ending and i even want another season is that much…
I agree! It was a great series with a refreshing approach. The only flaw i can see is that post production editing of the last few episodes could have been more optimized to establish greater reinforcement of the core messages the series wanted to convey.
Spoiler: ending discussion.I am seeing quite a few comments expressing how they were disappointed by the ending.…
It really was a great series!
The story, message and execution were refreshing for a thai bl production. I agree with All the the points you mentioned. I would also add that i became a fan of the two lead actors because of how they have carried themselves on and off camera.
I believe the only flaw of LW is more optimized editing. Its more of post production editing technicalities which made the final few episodes seem to deliver many small punches instead of few but strong points to deliver a knocknout
I don't know why people hating this series(hatred need no reason , i guess), but for me it is quite up to the…
Great series! The only flaw i think is the editing. Shortening, lengthening and condensing some scenes would have made the main ideas and points shine stronger
So, maybe the last episode is not the best one of the series. It mightn’t suit everyone’s taste. Having said…
Agree... i think addressing more realistic issues allows us to relate and be more involved with their life struggles; because real life is not overly dramatic nor pure fantasy, just somewhere in between :). Lovely Writer is in that sweetspot.
Great series! Overall, I think it is a step in the right direction for the Thai BL productions to advance realistic issues regarding the industry, the people connected to it and legitimate LGBT personal struggles that people in the community go through.
The acting of the main leads were really great. I could feel the effort made to make the chemistry work. Even if Aey’s character is something i really hate, Bruce’s portrayal of Aye was really good in the last episode. I liked the OST.
I have become a fan of the two leads (as individuals, not as a something to be shipped) in how they present themselves on and off camera.
That being said, I believe the last few episodes (mainly 10 and 12) could have been EDITED, condensed and optimizedto drive their main points accross stronger. The endless adverts in Ep10 made me a bit distracted from the main storyline. Ep 12 closed all the loose strings and the ending was great. However, their 4 month struggle had as much airtime (or even shorter) as how long they were deciding a proper ending. The main points of (1. If there is no inspiration to go on, go to where everything started and 2. Needing to re-examine the BL culture vis a vis real life and its impact on everyone) could have been more emphasized if some portions were trimmed down..
Based on the comparable scores of previous and recent series, an 8.3 is a correct score for Lovely Writer.
there was something in his gestures when he asked Oh for his phone to tag them all then to add him in IG
*PS: what about that photo in Jai's real IG account... hmmmm
