I didn't even know there are grooming accusations going on around🙄 , so some viewers are feeling YiJin is manipulations…
Right? I was so enraged by the "grooming" accusations. I don't want to generalize, but I've seen a lot of kpop stans especially girlgroup stans throwing those accusations. (I'm also a kpop fan by the way so I don't have bias against them, it's just what I see more).

It's just saddening to see such tweets gain thousands of likes, mostly coming from non-viewers and are seen by non-viewers who may now be discouraged to watch this beautiful drama just because of people who don't even know what "grooming" is and is standing by their fake activism.

Title Twenty Five Twenty One Spoiler
Seeing some of the comments on Twitter really made me question what I feel... but I think I have come to an agreement with myself that I will not feel sorry for feeling what I feel for what the leads have. I can give my understanding to people who may not feel comfortable that Hee Do was still in high school when they started off as friends and gradually developed feelings for each other—from genuine wanting-to-support-each-other to love—but I don't think I can stand seeing people accusing Yi Jin of "grooming" her. And I think Yi Jin's scene with Hee Do's ex boyfriend was really the turning point for me to acknowledge that.

"The look in her eyes, her expressions, her thoughts, and her values... "playing with her"? Who would be so serious while toying with someone?"
"Back then, I supported Naa He Do in every experience."
"I feel her time is more precious than mine. So I don't want her to waste a single moment on no good experiences. She deserves to have only the greatest experiences. And that is... something I am able to do."
"You're saying she doesn't know what she's doing? It's alright if she doesn't. Because I do."

As I tried to have an open mind regarding the opinion of others, I tried to properly inform myself of what really is "grooming" that people accuse him of.

TW | Grooming
"Grooming is when someone builds a relationship, trust and emotional connection with a child or young person so they can MANIPULATE, EXPLOIT, and ABUSE them." (NSPCC, n.d.)

And from what I've seen so far, both from Hee Do's and Yi Jin's perspectives, it isn't just it.

The translations really sometimes really just can't justify the lines 🥺

In the scene where Hee Do explained what she felt when she mistook Yi Jin for Injeolmi, Netflix just labeled 고백 as "WHAT you said" or "THAT was for you". When it's supposedly "Your confession." or "That confession was yours."

When Yi Jin saw Hee Do's grades, he actually said "It looks like *our Hee Do doesn't worry about her grades". but Netflix removed the "our Hee Do" maybe also because it's an endearing way of calling someone that is not really familiar for other cultures but still Yi Jin saying that was adorable.

And also Yi Jin's confession is not the usual "I love you" (사랑해) since Yi Jin said, "난 널 사랑하고 있어" which is in present progressive (presently happening but is still progressing), which can be more directly translated to, "I am loving you/I have been loving you (?)"

(This is not verbatim since I'm just taking it from my memory and I'm not a native speaker but someone who learned the language so please feel free to correct me!)

Notice how YJ doesn’t say “I’m in love with you” because that gives off an entire different meaning. He…
If I may add to this, Yi Jin's confession (사랑하고 있어) is actually more similar to "I have been loving you". It's like in present progressive form.

I thought of Run On and you coincidentally have SSK as your profile photo! One of the leads is an athlete too and both leads are each others' healing and comfort as well.

If you get past through the first 2 episodes, I promise you'd be able to give the webdrama a chance if the lead girl's character is the only thing stopping you!

As others have mentioned the second half was a bit underwhelming, I think what they needed was a killer plot twist…
I agree with this. I loved Law School generally, but the reveal of the killer was underwhelming.

It's a sitcom about the love and friendship of multinational university students in an international dormitory. It delivered what it claimed to deliver for me. I actually had a lot of fun watching it than what I've expected. I've watched a couple of sitcoms already in the past so maybe that's why the laughing track didn't bother me. The acting of Youngjae, Minnie, and Hyunseung, knowing that they're rookies surprised me too. And I know Hyunmin has acted a bit here and there, but he really did so great here! The behind-the-scenes relationship of the cast is so heartwarming as well. It's a show to watch in your free time to just enjoy and past time. I really hope this continues for another season!

Originally, the Swastika has been a symbol of divinity and spirituality in religions like Hinduism and Buddhism.…
Thank you for this. The two also face a different direction. The Buddhist swastika is right-facing, while the other one is left-facing.

This version probably is more suited for those who really likes fluff. There were times I really had to pause because it was too... cheesy... but I feel like I connected more with this version's male lead.

I personally connected with this more than the original, but we have all have different preferences, and that's understandable and okay.

Anyone has a drama recommendation similar to this (and Shopping King Louie)? Just something light and warm? ;A;

Where are negative comments ?
I just checked it now and they're there though...? They're comments saying they're not the biggest fans of him because his acting is not to their liking. I didn't realize it'll be this big when I don't want that to happen seeing there's only a few of them and again anyone has the right to their opinion, but I don't want to appear like I'm making stories either hahaha, should I send a screenshot?
