An amazing series. I've watched the anime before this so I knew the whole plot already and I have been a fan of the series itself, but it was refreshing to see it as a live action. Not to mention, I'm amazed by how Masaki Okada could act as Kikuhiko from young to old, the way Ishida Akira (Kikuhiko's Anime VA) did as well. I couldn't imagine most of the casts were able to memorized the script all together with the rakugo stories. I'm glad that they did not change the plot and decided to stick with the original, because it was already beautifully tragic.

I've watched him in Gintama, Otomen and Showa Genroku Rakugo Shinju so far. I really amazed by his acting in Showa Genroku Rakugo Shinjuu! Can anyone recommend of his movies/series? I would love to see more of his works!
