I will always rewatch this every two years lol. Need some melodrama in my drama life

This drama has a special place in my heart. The unrequited love & FL sacrifices (the plot overall) make me continue the series. Yes, the editing is kinda choppy, but among all lakorns I've watched, this is actually one of the good ones. The ost had more than 40 million views itself and this drama was popular at that time. The chemistry was great and Mew is a really great actress. Of course, there's an unnecessary scene; fighting, gangsters, cheating (its lakorn btw), but their FL love towards the ML is making my heart ache. Some might not understand the FL decisions but I get what the director tries to deliver (even I disagree with some of her actions) All the side characters bring their own colours in this series (love ML mother!)

I'm surprised at how good is this lakorn. Of course, there are compulsory lakorn plots(fighting scene, mistress, evil sister etc) but overall is good. There's no typical zoom-in-out, slowmo camera style, good script (not entirely) and good side plot stories. Usually, the sides story of lakorn are boring tbh but here are watchable and not excessively written.

And my god! The ML & FL have good chemistry and they carry the show. ML really good in portraying his emotions and love the fact that the FL is not that ENTIRELY innocent & weak woman. And there's a lot of skinship and good kissing scenes lol. Throughout the episodes, the ML showed a lot of his affections through his body language, his eyes (omg!) and that alone makes my heart fluttering.

All in all, with Lakorn I won't expect that much since I'm used to their ridiculous plot but this drama is worth watching.
