I see so this is the negative points on the plot executions. But cdramas always have this illogical plots haha. So, they better justify this in further eps.

This is not new tbh. Korean kinda open with the theme like Scandal in their older kmovies industry since the early 20s, basically they were one of the genre that popular and build kmovies popularity worldwide. It was even worse even vulgar in the past even they always add this subtly in a simple romance movie but with movie industry in decline, its normal for the transition of this them into dramas instead. So this drama is still mild, very objective tbh on the theme esp this mixed with business plot.
Dare to say, this is the best pure romance modern Kdrama ive watched for a while since Lovely runner (minus When Life Gives You Tangerines which is super good melo romance, slice of life)
It has good plot, good scripts esp the non-draggy scripts with the side characters like ML friend & FL family members, Good actors with such great chemistry which I felt the tinggles that kdrama rarely have nowadays. The dynamic & chemistry are crazy good and how they put 2 different people with different views really made me the romance really engaging ie makes the viewers waiting for them to be together. New Kdrama rarely have this tbh, at one point u just felt downhill with the romance.

Omg the charcater developement. The FL is so wise, the wisest of them all. The way she view things; the family management after the rebel , the relationship, i'ts just amazing. She's always learning, and marrying the ML is actually done her good as in she's able to be her true self that she tried to hid all this while.
ML is also such a good man, he learned and willing to lower himself. Its just shows how her mother raised him good. Im excited actually to see more dynamic of FL and her mother in law cause i felt they both smart and composed and they could learn from one another
This drama just proves how good family will nurture good people & having a good man leading the family, good women taking care the family result to a good family.Like FL said, the master if is not good, then the maid will turn out bad.
Just crazy how much this drama can invokes my emotion. Stopped at 36 now continue with 37, once the music started and the scene s post war, my eyes strated to tear. This drama basically pushed me into the dramas, as in we are one of the characters even the side character. The music seriously soo good.
All actors are amazing, fits into the charcaters, not so polished or too pretty/handsome like many popular dramas but really good actors. They are soo humane?

True, and FL just lives with trauma, and it's normal to hold resentment towards the ML and the "noble life' yet she didn't even have any grudge, tbh. She needs time, and what's left of her is her dignity as a woman, and she protects it well.
ML won't understand why she's like that (even as a good man, at that time, ML still won't understand much), but he's still learning. Price of women's divorce? ML only understands when her cousin suffered from it. Why is FL angry for the marriage when he's a good man? Only after he almost died does ML understand why FL is angry when her freedom of choice was taken. Even so, ML needs explanation and experience.

FL has witnessed her family members hanging themselves, her little sister drinking poison & went through a life as a slave & maid. She can be a villain & even become crazy after the traumatic events. But she worked hard to help her new parents be released from the shackles of slavery, yet was pushed into a marriage & into the noble life connected to the death of her family. FL can even blame the ML's family for not helping her family, even though it's not his fault, and she knows better. She's still hanuted by the death of her family.
But FL just stood her ground, still claiming her right to choose even as a wife, i.e., when she wants to give her heart to the ML. Yet, she never exerted authority as the ML's wife, kept quiet & only interfered when the ML's sisters asked for her help & now the ML needs it. This means she tried to keep her boundaries & just wanted to survive.
It's kind of sad that when a woman holds her dignity high, she's called self-righteous or disrespectful. Life as a woman, especially at that time: the last thing she was 'able' to protect was her dignity—i.e., making choices and protecting her ability to make them. She has the right not to accept the ML and makes him work hard for it.
