This drama kinda shows how important is good family upbringing & have a good man as a father figure. Love that ML's mother said the ML deserves the FL slapes after he pushed her into the marriage instead of blaming the FL like typical drama arc. She didnt blamed the FL at all, even she can had bad thought she seduced her way into the marriage.
Some people in the next previews asked why the FL still doubts/doesn't love him yet. This drama is that the FL has her own mind and is strong-headed. With the trauma she had to face, it's just a blessing that she wasn't out seeking revenge or becoming crazy. She even had to marry the ML like that.
It's even logical for her to fall in love with him after years in marriage, or even after they had children or even older. That will become more interesting for me cause it shows the biggest autonomy she has right now is her love. Yes, the ML loves her, but what is highlighted in the drama is on what women had to suffers. Ma will never know how much common women suffer. Even for the ML, he only understands how hard it is for women to get divorced because it happened to her cousin. It's not that the ML is bad, but only women understand women's suffering & we can't wait for men to help.

Its the most logical approach cause tbh FL had suffered massive trauma with her family. And for her to marry into the family that reminds her of the death, rejected her (despite its not his fault). Now, her freedom was snatched openly when she tried hard to survive.

Omg I cried non stop at ep 36. Can this drama stop making me crying lol. After looking back, Xin Tang just wanted a companian, she's not a good person per say but she actually wanted make the FL as her friend. At ep 31, she gave the indenture easily & asked her to play golf. She did say if she failed to score then she needs to come again the next day (instead she wont get it at all) ie she can spent more time with the FL.

The drama is just too good on how 'engaging' are all the charactaers with the audiences even the side plots. And most importantly how the FL is laid back yet able to pull up her own ways herself, w/o going through typical FL path of revenge plot which kinda over saturated in many dramas nowadays and kinda lead to some illogical plots in the FL pov tbh. The ML and FL is just made for each other. ML is smart and considering his position, he still let the FL to take lead, make decision and didnt even underestimates her capability. HIs eyes were glimmering with fascinations. FL unleased her true self when with the ML that she tried to cover all along as common people.
Ugh all the scenes them together as wife husband makes me go giddy and heart fluttered. Its the way the ML amazed how smart is his wife, letting her take the lead & freedom. ML just fell deeper in love towards her.

Its sad (my hearts breaks) how they potrays the sorrow of her & family receing the decree marying the ML yet so logical POV of a common man who just want to live a normal life. This is a great story telling of this drama.

I wondered why I love TSY as FL. She gave this calmness not over the top or dramatic that makes the drama so humane, like in Go Ahead & Road Home. It's her vibes and aura that kinda fit certain dramas, despite people debating her physical looks.

She kinda want to run away for her past & didnt go for revenge route but tbh she cant run away from her past when she stepped into his household and attrcted someone prominent like him.
