I think cdramas recently compared to older cdramas (esp pre 2010) are quite tame with emperor craziness, cause people were super annoyed , including me over this man. Still, despite the unlikability of this emperor, he's quite sane. The Emperor should always be either stupid, crazy, ruthless and getting things his way, which boils you up.
